Many thanks to Matt Lutynski (aka Sniper) Tom Andrews of Elite Action Games, Jono of PhoenixAirsoft, AirsoftDynamics and WolfArmouries for their generous prize donations.

Update Monday, February 11, 2002 7:56 PM The winners have been picked and notified via email, we will publish their details here as soon as we have had replies from the winners themselves. Note: Winners have 14 days to reply to the emails, otherwise replacement winners will have to be picked.

Winners were selected from the correct answers using true random numbers that are generated using atmospheric noise which for many purposes is better than the pseudo-random numbers typically generated by computer programs from http://www.random.org/nform.html - Arnie

What's up on offer: Well to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of this website, it's rise in popularity, and our first 100,000 visitors (now over 200,000 visitors and over 500,000 hits), we thought we'd have a small competition to say thanks to our readers, as it's you, the 'softer's out there, who have made this site what it is. Hey it's Christmas!

Several incredibly nice folks have generously donated equipment for this event. We'd like to thank Tom Andrews of Elite Action Games, Jono of PhoenixAirsoft, AirsoftDynamics, WolfArmouries and Matt Lutynski (he donated prizes from his personal collection) for their support with this. Without their help this event wouldn't be possible. Thank you from the Arnie's Airsoft crew!

Two separate draws will be made, one for regions near the UK and one for regions near the US.

Entrants are to submit their answers once for the region that applies to them. If an applicant is not in the specified area they are to select the region that is nearest to them. Please be aware that the prizes are intended for the area in which they are offered, so if you live in the UK, don't apply for the US prize.

If a winner is selected from outside the catchment region they will be required to pay the extra shipping and export/import costs - details will be confirmed with the promoter supporting the specific prize.

Please note point 6 of the Terms and Conditions : Candidates will be asked to submit where they are located and which draw they are applying for. If a winner is drawn that isn't located in the general stated area (Europe or the US) their situation will be considered on an individual level, and if it is warranted they may be charged for shipping of the prize.

Winners will be drawn in the new year (Mid January 2002, exact date to be confirmed on the main news page) and will be notified via the email address that they submitted from within 48hours of the results being available.

US Prizes: Many thanks to Matt Lutynski (aka Sniper) for donating the KSC TMP (with prototype silencer) and 'customised' TM Mk 23 springer. Remember folks, Matt isn't a retailer so he deserves an extra big thankyou for donating these items!

First prize: KSC SPP with KSC "Prototype" aluminum silencer, scope mount and 2 extra short magazines.

Second prize: TM Mk23 Springer

What you have to do to win... It's easy really, submit ONE email to either:

uscompetition@arniesairsoft.co.uk to submit your answer to the US draw

or

ukcompetition@arniesairsoft.co.uk to submit your answer to the UK draw

with the answers to these four easy questions:

  1. WolfArmouries recently aquired some new stock. What price in UK pounds (as of the 15th Dec 2001) do they sell the 4thGen CA SD5 for?
  2. Available from the 10th December 2001, what price (in UK pounds) are AirsoftDynamics offering the TM Beta Spetsnaz for?
  3. What well known forest are PhoenixAirsoft located in?
  4. Tom has kindly given up some free passes to Elite Action Games how much (according to their website) do those nice chaps at EAG normally charge for "Gun hire + Green Fee" tickets?

Before you go off trundling round the neather reaches of the web, the answers are simple and easy to find. Read all of this page before submitting your answer, 'nuff said :0)

Terms and Conditions: Sorry but these have to be here - the general gist of the following t&c's is that we'll run everything fairly, but you can't held us liable if things go wrong (things always do) as we don't supply the prizes. We'll do out best for you. :)

  1. No member (or their close family) of the ArniesAirsoft crew and the associated supporters of this competion are eligible.

  5. The winning prizes will not be sent to a country where Airsoft or the importation of replicas is prohibited or unlawful.
  6. Candidates will be asked to submit where they are located and which draw they are applying for. If a winner is drawn that isn't located in the general stated area (Europe or the US) their situation will be considered on an individual level, and if it is warranted they may be charged for shipping of the prize.
  7. The prizes may be changed for items of lesser or equal value, no cash alternative is offered.
  8. These conditions constitute the entire agreement of the parties relating to the entry and conduct of the competition.
