blablabla
Mod if this is double and/or in wrong place, by all means move this... Is this THE resurrection ? Who's to say ? aznriptide859
Oh please, don't tease us Real Sword. Not without an actual release ... Wow that sounded dirty...
Bando
RS GBB M4?!
Isamu
Well, its definite that real sword hates us and wants to kill us in the most hype-ish way I want to believe in that revolutionary AEG :'(
Inq Eisenhorn
Is the RS "hype" even relevant anymore? I mean, Systema now / will have receivers made by Knights Armament Co. So that covers the AEG market (yes, there will be a price difference but nothing RS kicks out will be able to compete with that Koolade), and if this represents RS move into the GBBR market, given the healthy and established competition, well.....say no more. Don't get me wrong, more choice is always nice, but RS has developed a "boy who cried wolf" reputation, not to mention they seem to struggle to populate the market with their established product line.....all this leads me to being rather nonchalant about any news that comes from their direction. Panzergraf
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=674615445910557&set=pcb.674615632577205&type=1&permPage=1 Says 130/300rd magazine, so at least one of the guns is an AEG (or an empty shell that might one day become an AEG). I wouldn't say no to a forged receiver AEG that wasn't a Systema.
hitmanNo2
The hype for the RS ARs that that they are supposedly some revolutionary system. GBB perhaps or some kind of hybrid. Who knows.
SteevoLS
I gave up on this eons ago but I still want one. :'( Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
spetsnazdave87
On my way to IWA now to talk to RS, will ask.
carbonfibreguy
Another M4. Just what we needed.
aznriptide859
Another M4. Just what we needed. You obviously weren't paying attention to this gun when it was first announced, were you? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foQJjv5DHw4&feature=feedu
Algy
From the pics it looks like they're working on a GBB M4A1,and an AEG M16A3. Can't say I'm especially excited about the GBB, but if RS live up to reputation then the AEG could be worth consideration.
Reppyboyo
If its anything like the Type 97 sniper and LMG varient, dont expect to see these anytime soon.
TheFull9
Their mysterious solenoid ARs did kick up a storm for a good reason, their reputation at the time was certainly shining compared to how it is now. They've certainly presented some interesting models (pics from gunfire.pl's facebook page): My personal prediction is standard V2 AEGs along with WA system GBBRs. Those PMAGs are more than just a tad reminiscent of the ones G&P made/make for the WOC line.

I think they're supposed to be designing a new type of gearbox, at least this seemed to be what was suggested a few years ago:
LordElpus
I hope they do get that system working as I am seriously curious as to how it works..
TheFull9
I think they're supposed to be designing a new type of gearbox, at least this seemed to be what was suggested a few years ago: I know, that's what I was referring to in my first sentence of the post when I said 'solenoid ARs'. But as I say, I don't predict we're going to actually see that product. I will of course be more than happy to be wrong however.
Chevieblazer
I call BS on that. Those are WA GBBs. Not only are those G&P Pmags, but the upper rifle in the first pic has the pin holes in the mag like a WA heavy mag. So unless RS faithfully replicated GBB features to make thier AEGs look like GBBs it's a WA type GBB. I'd say G&Ps (1st one is a bomber conversion kit) except for the second one, that's an Ino or a Viper
PureSilver
RealSword have been putting M4s on display for years, if I remember correctly, and never got around to releasing any of them. I might be persuaded to buy an AEG M4A1 from them if it was truly 1:1 like their Kalashnikovs are, but even then, without recoil, why would I take it over my Recoil Shock? Hopefully that electromagnetic blowback system comes out eventually. I don't know if I'd bother buying a GBBR from them, especially not a WA-pattern one, unless it was markedly improved; I reckon between Inokatsu and Viper the ultra-high-end market in WA-variants is more or less sewn up. Isamu
LoL! June release? thats what they said 3 years ago XD and we havent seen a working prototype yet. Hope Im terribly wrong and they actually release it, because im in the market for 2, 3 or 4, just so I can fiddle and fondle them like a fat kit on supersized tacos covered on belgian chocolate
SuperCriollo
Meh... I lost faithin Real Sword yaers ago. The Type 88 DMR was showed over 5 years ago.... Oh and do you remeber the sports line they were supposed to realease including a TM style ak, aug, and VZ scorpio ? Where are those ?
kagami
It's already been confirmed the gun would be a WA system GBB beefed up at internal points that Real Sword thought were inadequate, I specifically remember some magazine with an internal warming system or something like that. This really isn't a resurrection as they seem to have "functioning" prototypes of their guns for like, 2 years now? Makes me disappointed when I see new pictures of the same stuff, albeit dressed in different accessories heh.
uscmCorps
Last time I talked to them a couple years back they alluded to the product being conceptually awesome but not completed even in prototype form. Basically that it was vaporware and that they felt it wasn't the right time to release it. Shame ... cuz conceptually it was very promising.
jal3
I tried to pry an answer out of them, but i think the design is not even remotely finished yet. The lower looks like in the picture. The upper has a massive bolt carrier with some odd escort looking internals. It's like they took an AEG lower with a GBBR upper. I still haven't figured out how it's supposed to accelerate the BB. The externals etc was of course in amazing quality.
