aznriptide859
Sweet bipod...nice. Steel body...nice. Quick-change barrel...nice. Toolless GB removal...nice! Trademarks...*pours bleach onto eyes*.
Wild_XIII
That's VERY impressive. They've put some real work into that! It's a shame about the trades, however at least they aren't whited out! That gearbox looks bomb proof. I doubt that'll break easily!
J.J.Simpson
When you charge the handle - the barrel and chamber moves back and locks with the nozzle???? Is that seal is even possible? Already considering WW2 loadout

FTZ-WildeCard
Oh god -- Maybe I do have space for one more gun...... It's not like I own a support weapon, yet.
badwitchproject
I wonder if they'll make an MG3 upgrade kit?
QQexDERA
Lovely bit of work there from G&G. Makes me almost wish I hadn't binned the WW2 'Softing. There are so many design details on this that are superior to my old Ultima MG-42 (just removing the inner barrel alone was a time consuming job on that thing)
renegadecow
For the brief moment that the charging handle was pulled back I thought it was a GBB. I was wrong. For what the quick change barrel is worth you'd need spare barrels to make use of it, not that there's any overheating problems ti address in the first place. With that, eyes are still on A&K. TheFull9
Never really looked in any detail at the MG42, but if the G&G is a faithful reproduction I can see exactly where FN stole the design for the bi-pod and trigger group on the MAG from. That's definitely the heftiest looking gearbox I've ever seen, it's almost weird to see an airsoft gun that appears to be designed so solidly and realistically. When you're used to weird, proprietary, grub-screw-infested, over-priced, design cluster *fruitcage*s, the way this thing takes down (i.e. as easy as most decent real guns) is just a beauty to behold. GI0VANNI
nice concept but the thing feeds from??? that gearbox seems to me more a pro to than a real gearbox (machined instead mold?? don´t really expect so much and I need to see it feeding and firing and of course i need to know were the battery goes, in the stock like the china made one? AG1212
Fill the trades, have it re-engraved, paint, polar-star it for 1000rpm with a jerry-rigged tank in the stock or box-mag = WINNING (making it into an MG3 with Eotech is optional).

FireKnife
Now all I need is a slave willing accomplice to be the support for my bi-pod. "That's right, bend over and take those hits for me while I lay waste to every leaf I can see!!!!" 'FireKnife'
bankz5152
That does look very impressive! I love the look of the gearbox. However unless its GBB then I loose all interest. Who ever decided it would be a good idea to put those G&G trades on the back needs a slap.

"That's right, bend over and take those hits for me while I lay waste to every leaf I can see!!!!" 'FireKnife' That's letting them off lightly. If you really want to torture them get them to lug the issued lafette tripod and optics round. 22kg + of torture for them. And yes, I have made someone do that lol
Algy
It would be a real labour of love lugging this monster around a field all day. It does look rather nice though.

QQexDERA
Shoei have made an HPA/CO2 powered blowback MG-42 for what feels like aeons. New version due out soon (with a far less ROF) plus an AEG version on the way as well. Can't help but think that Tomio will have missed the boat on the AEG version though! Deinhardt
That video is making me cry with joy, never before have I seen an AEG that has been designed to be as true to the real steel (and as well) as that, It's going to be hard to stay away from one of these.
