KWC P08, M712, Glock17/18c, various 357's and more!

After being blown away by the value for money i found in my new KWC 1911, i figured i'd give their website a browse.

Some of these where covered before on various tradeshow threads, but i didn't see a mention of the glocks so i figured i'd bunch up their upcoming models in one place.

I can't find any pictures online but you can easily check out their website, there is a link at the top menu that gets you the full catalog .pdf.  http://www.kwcgun.com

Since google images refuses to cooperate with me, i'll just have to list the models and hope you got to check out the link. I'll update with pics as soon as i get them.

-P08 - Not really my cup of tea, but i figure there's alot of reenactment people out there in colder weather who would kill for a CO2 powered luger.

-M721 broomhandle - See above

-Glock17/18c - The 17 is a little late to the CO2 Glock party, but the prospect of a CO2 18c that won't shred itself to smithereens is really interesting, this i might pick up.

-Model 357 - With king arms coming out with a great, hop-up touting revolver, this better be good, wingun shenanigans just won't fly anymore.

-M45A1 - Surely sharing the same internals as their 1911's, will look great, will kick hard, will have flush CO2 mags. Not sure i'm digging the rail though...

-Makarov - WTF is up with that mag plate? either that's some obscure variant or it's a design fail by KWC. I'm leaning towards the latter.

-Taurus 24-7tr- Kill it! Kill it with fire!

-M&P 40- It's going to be a tough choice between this and the glock 18. Looks great and CO2 means kick!

What do you guys think? i'm optimistic, KWC are slowly but surely upping their game. That being said, i have been burned before...

Edit:Not sure if it's cool or not having the post without the pics, if not, mods feel free to remove the thread.

The Makarov, assuming it is still the NBB, has been around for a while, same as the M&P and T24-7.

Also the M&P has 'spring' next to it as in spring action.

Plus to finish off, most of them look like rather poor quality guns and it tuns out they have minimal blowback travel, not good.

The Luger might interest me but I don't really rate KWC in the first place. The full auto blowback M712 might be nice but the Python looks a touch 'Wingunny'.

EDIT: Turns out the stupid floor plate Makarov is a CO2 blowback, not full travel by the look of it but still it is about as likely as the KWA at this point.

Wow, that Taurus. It looks....ugly, but it does have 'better percision', hehe. Anyway, the only slightly interesting thing is the Luger, but as far as I know KWC isn't really known for producing great quality airsoft guns.

KWC guns, particularly their CO2 blowbacks after the Sig x five, have been pretty good. a lot of people are having fun with their 1911s and i have met a few people who have had them still running from the release of the A1 model. i only see people run into major issues with them if they are poorly maintained. but of course, i have seen a few fail from use after a year and a half of good use. i have good hopes that the luger, glocks, M712 and new M&P will be along those same lines.

the new 96A1 is a bit of a ###### shoot though. their taurus M9s kinda fall apart from the select fire components. if it was semi auto only and had no rail, id be all over it. love the models with the frumpy trigger guard for some reason.

BTW the 96A1 is a .40 cal version of the 92A1 (which is 9mm). beretta made the 92A1 model to mix the classic styling of the 92FS series with the newer functionality and slightly higher ammo capacity of the 90two.

Like the co2 in grip m712 - shame they didnt have a top loading clip mag thing. I hope its skirmishable & reliable but will have to wait and see

Mike - how is the tercel?

It is CO2 in mag, not grip but it is about the only one that piques my interest given that it has proper select fire, yummy.

KWC has been slipping under my radar for years, although i am sometimes tempted by their CO2 uzi (would someone make a decent full size uzi GBB already?)

After reaching my breaking point with WE's, i got a 1911 from KWC, although it's a recent purchase it has been a blast to shoot, and for the price i can always chuck it and get a new one when it breaks.

Now i feel embarassed for not noticing the half-blowback thing. I honestly thought no one bothered with making those anymore, apart from the odd wingun or that silly G&G xtreme(yeah bro!) 45.

Edit: Also, still curious to see how their glock stacks up to the APS

No bolt lock (not sure if there even should be one) and stupid-*albatross* barrel mount (it's held from the front by a thread, tip of the barrel is the nut that holds it). Apart from that, it works. Hell, even the magazine is pretty decent.

Although I also heard complaints about the gun going full auto after some use.

Edit: Derp, Im dumb.

I had been tempted myself to get a Tercel but never was crazy enough about them to go find one.

I know HFC made one as well. Which was the blowback and which was the NBB? Cause I know both were made but cant remember who made what.

HFCs m712 hand cannon was a NBB. tercle made the GBB with a molded in selector (they could have ommited the selector and called it a C96, but added it for no reason other than to call it an M712).

the M712 and all its varients have a bolt lock. it must be power stroked like a Luger. this KWC replicates that.
