Lets hope its actually a new rifle this time and not some even newerer canned gas or something ridiculous like that (Or worse, more WE AEGs). I dont know what would constitute the "biggest news in a long time coming" but usually things stated in such a way tend to be things nobody else cares about.

Lets hope i have to eat my words.

Damn it now I really want that PMM and Beretta 84F.

A part of me still wishes they were a PM and a standard 84 (or 84B) but hey in airsoft just to get affordable GBBs of both is damn good going.

Sucks to be KWA eh?

RA-Tech has never made guns I don't think, I own a few of "their" guns but they are always customised stuff, so they sell an existing gun with their externals over it, they have never developed anything from scratch afaik, so I can easily see them releasing a steel kit for the PMM for WE.

She did use at least one 84FS Beretta (first film I think) [checked on IMFDB, it was two of them].

However the PMM iis my bag, have always wanted a classic (well near enough in the PMMs case) Cold War compact pistol that isn't the PPK/S.

Everyone needs a bad guy gun right?

Eh, that's my slight niggling issue about it. Technically the PMM came out in the 90s, right at the collapse of the Soviet Union so not really so cold war. But it's so similar to the PM that when held even with just one hand it's hard to tell them apart like a Para Ord to a 1911. Still popular up to present day though so that encompasses everyone at Red Alliance doing Chechen to modern impressions or anyone wanting an eastern bloc bad guy gun that isn't a CZ or Tokarev. That's why I was saying if and when KWA still release theirs there'd still be some people left wanting it. Unless of course WE follows through with a PM.

The real question is would I have to grow a porn 'tache to go with the SLR or would it come with one as standard?

Now *that* would swing it for me. If it came with classic British face fuzz and a 1970s issue cup of tea :P.

Same but it is close enough for my liking. As for the KWA well if they ever release it they will sell. Then again if WE did the PM and it featured a more TM like hop than the awful ball bearing hop on a KWA I know which I would plump for.

I wouldnt count on WE releasing both versions. They seem morally opposed or something to releasing different versions of guns they already make, otherwise we would have had the Browning HP MK3 that everyone has been wanting years ago.

The PMM is good enough for me quite honestly. I suppose it helps though that the first Makarov I ever handled, that made me fall in love with them, was a PMM. While I  like the original PM more aesthetically, I can see why having a larger gas resevoir could only be considered a good thing. Makarov PMs have a sort of tiny skinny magazine and unless the whole design was modelled after the Maruzen PPK, I cant imagine it cycling through all the shots in the mag.

Also lets not forget that KWC is making a blowback C02 Makarov PM in the coming months as well. Granted it has a wierd looking magazine but Im sure some people will go for it anyway. I kind of wonder why they could make the magazine look normal and use an 8 gram short c02 bulb. Maybe if they get bugged enough they could make one, I suppose. (Fat chance)
