olem
When I got my CM16, the hop-up was very good, and on maximum would send BBs curving way up out of sight. I was also having BBs curving to the right, and I couldn't seem to get the barrel clean enough while assembled, so I took it out to do it properly. On reassembly BBs are dropping off pretty quickly, and there's no difference whether the hop-up is fully on or off. As an additional symptom, I think there are more loose BBs when I remove the magazine than before: 3 or 4 now vs 1 or 2 before. However I could just be imagining that. Any help appreciated! Tw1tch
Did you put the barrel back in the right way round? Funnily enough I might've done that when I changed my hop rubber.
olem
By way round, I assume you mean axial alignment, and not whether I put the right end in? Yeah, not sure I did, will check that tonight.
Tommygunn
Did you put the bucking grommet back in. It's the small tube that presses on the outside of the hop rubber by means of the adjustment lever. Tom.
Tw1tch
Yes, that's a better way to put it. I think I might've put my inner barrel back into my Mk18 with the hop window facing down (so where the barrel clip inserts) for some unknown reason, and probably why I was experiencing no hop adjustment last game day. XD Can't wait to open it up again and have a look to see if that was my silly mistake.
olem
Right, it was purely alignment. Now shoots perfectly. Thanks for your help everyone - today another noob learned something!
Tw1tch
Good to see it was a minor issue, here's hoping mine's the same and I didn't tear the bucking while inserting it into the chamber.
