FTZ-WildeCard
Interesting! Have to admit, without knowing the background on the actual Spectre M4, I thought this might've been a secret project BTC was working on! haha What kind of battery can you fit into the Spectre?
The Insider
comes with a mini type.I beleve the foregrip is a little longer than the original to accommodate the battery.
Isamu
Happy birthday then, mate! Its nice having something different hit the market, are midcaps programmed to be released? BTW: dont know if my browser is trolling me, but I cant see the attached images and had to go watch them to your facebook page, just a heads up
FireKnife
Oooo nice, even with the mahoosive fore-grip . Few things though: 1. What is the mag capacity like? 2. What is the FPS like? 3. Any mention of a stock for it? 'FireKnife'
The Insider
1, comes with a mid cap and extra mids are available now too, but rd count i'm unsure.2, haven't chronoed yet.3, not aware... but will ask.. and maybe.i'm giving one to Goliath tonight.... and hes a "lets have a looky inside" person so he should do a full / basic review. hitmanNo2
Needs a Lipo and an after market, smaller front grip.
DarkLite
I have one, review inbound soon. MINE! ALL MINE!
DarkLite
Very quick overview before I head to bed: Almost entirely plastic, but pretty sturdy feeling. Uses a modified Ver3 GB with a lowered nozzle and custom nozzle/tappet plate Propietary hop-up unit modelled on an M4 unit with only one adjustment wheel Standard AEG barrels and hop up rubbers etc Iron sights are metal Magazines are only 56 rounds each, which seems pretty small considering how EKSBAWXHUEG they are. Magazines do pop free when you hit the mag catch though, nice touch. Safety is on the right side, hard to actuate Semi/Full switch only on the left side, easy to hit with your thumb Rail on the right side is probably for lights or PEQ box Foregrip is big but can take a mini battery or a fairly sizeable lipo easily. More to come.
FireKnife
That rail seems stupid to me. Perhaps because this is a gun from the good old days of lasers with boxes attached to power them but it just looks like a bad add on. Other than that and the dissapointingly small magazine capacity it looks fine. 'FireKnife'
DarkLite
The good news is the rail is easily removed. Personally I'll keep it so I can pop a flashlight on there.
Horsem4n
55 rounds is disappointing when king arms can stuff 100 into an MP5 mag. still on the list to get this thing though. the final straw is the folding stock.
DarkLite
I'll be looking at the magazines later to see if there's any way of expanding the capacity.
The Insider
i just chronoed one and was a steady..."under 1J" out of the box.can you concur darklite?
DarkLite
Just chronoed mine a few seconds ago. With WE 0.25g bbs I'm getting 0.81-0.89J over a ten shot string. I reckon the source of the inconsistency will be the hop-up rubber, it seemed to sit very loosely in the hop up unit. Speaking of which, here are some more piccies: Muzzlecap is glued on and doesn't contact the barrel at all, which isn't great. I'll be making a shim/spacer for that. Battery space will take a 8.4v mini battery or a similarly sized lipo. It is JUST as long as an 8.4v mini, so bear that in mind. The safety on the real gun is the selector. Up for semi, down for full auto. Trigger is an AK trigger, as it's an AK gearbox with a few mods. Safety is the fire selector on the real gun. Here it is in 'Fire' 'Safe' This is as far as the fake bolt retracts, just a single centimeter! The hop up wheel is in there. The mag release is inside the biiiiig trigger guard. You can try pressing it with your trigger finger but it is a long stretch (and I have XXL sized hands). The magazine will pop and drop free of the magwell though, which could be good for speed reloads. Here it is broken down into the major components. It's a pretty clever design, but it's hard to do because of one little part being designed too big. More on that in the proper review. The lower receiver appears to be one piece (of plastic). Here you can clearly see the offset nozzle. More to come.
Imperator
Oh I like this! I like this a lot!The 55 rounder isn't all that bad, I guess. I'm used to running a TM Uzi on lows and mids so... The same applies to the fps.Whats the retail price on it, and when is it available in Europe?
swatti
Full plastic, weird selector & safety. So sad, I had high hopes for this. Echo1 tec9 needs to get here like now.

Beeingmyself
What a brilliant thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - To call it M4 = FAIL!! Lets see how many things are compatible witth the normal term gun also called M4? Hmmm = NONE If HK was not allowed to call the HK416 for the HK M4 why is this legal?
Horsem4n
SITES designed and sold the Spectre M4 before Colt started the XM4 project. SITES didnt care. it was a different gun competing in a different market. most people refer to them a Spectres and not M4s anyway. or Phantoms, for the gamers among us.
FireKnife
or Phantoms, for the gamers among us. Stop it, I already want to attend an airsoft game on a ship. Throw in a suit and pair of these (but no drop off the screen reloading ) and I would be very happy . Too bad I don't really do electric. 'FireKnife'
