CNC Machined Charging Handles for AABB Hera Arms GCC & CPE Kits

Owners of the Hera Arms GCC and CPE pistol carbine kits will know how basic the standard charging handles are, now you can upgrade them with these new LPE CNC machined charging handles. The first batch sizes have been very small so I'm posting this here before anywhere else to give Arnies Airsoft Forums members a chance to get one first.

Both have been designed to be more comfortable and grippier in use than the originals and to fit in with the design of the carbine kits themselves, the GCC version is also slightly shorter than the original to reduce the chance of it snagging on gear. The GCC charging handle is priced at £13 and the CPE version at £11.

Not much really, or find a more modern 1911 like an meu or something that takes bomar sights.

This is what I meant for the cocking handle, but unless LPE can do you something custom you lose the rear sight, these are made for raceguns with optics really.

Rob could you make the charging handle work with just a 1911 slide? not one installed into the kit as a friend of mines hands are starting to lose fine motor control and racking a slide is sometimes hard work. something IDK attached to the rear sight base?

As Gisburn has already said, there are already ISPC charging handles that fit into the rear sight dovetail, my manual mill is tied up with a long production job at the moment but even if it wasn't I'm not sure what I could do differently with the same sort of mounting, I'd give that a try first personally. If keeping the rear sight at the standard height is important then actually mounting a charging handle directly to the slide may be the only option if there is enough material in the slide and BBU to drill and tap a hole, but that involves modifying the slide itself so not really ideal.
