From a laziness point of view, I do like the look of those, but then You'd just have people picking them up, clicking them round and throwing them back at no cost to themselves.

to be fair thats very similar to what paintballers say about airsoft. Its a trust thaang.

I'd just load certain slots, that way you'll know which ones are usable and which aren't. Not fool-proof but would help.

Let's say you loaded slots 1, 3 and 5. Logically someone picking it up hoping to kill you back would click it to the next number which would be a dud. After the first throw the opponent would have a 2/5 chance of getting the right one.

I've got a load of impact grenades and unfortunately had issues with people not taking them as hits. I have since stopped going to a site due to repeat offenders backed up by marshals because they were regulars.

Care to name and shame the site?

Never had a problem at any of the sites I've used mine at.

People shouldn't really have the time to click and reload these if you have followed it in to the room after detonation.

People using your kit shouldn't happen. You don't use peoples randomly dropped magazines, gas, BBs etc. Why should a BFG not be the same?

I don't know, I have seen some proper pikey moments in airsoft. Though I did see one moment where a guy picked up a dropped magazine for an AEG M4, tested it in his own to see if it still fed or not by firing a few rounds to hit an opposing player then popped it back to the bloke that had lost it about five minutes after, explaining it to him that it still worked (it had dented off a stone) and sorry for using his ammo :P.

Still this idea looks good but for me I prefer the one use types. That way I know if it is loaded after throwing and it can't be thrown back incase it rolls next to the one *Ubar* that every airsoft site seems to have (seriously, in every site I have been, it is 90% lovely people and that one *Ubar*).

I appreciate the idea and am all for more pyro in airsoft but feel I'm drawn more to single load BFGs because that way I can deploy a couple in quick succession without needing to recover the grenade beforehand.

However if I was going to rock a stripped back loadout with minimal kit this would be pretty sweet.

Guess I've just been lucky. :)

I hear you Tw1tch and this was my first concern about these multishot-BFGs. So, I thought carefully about it and the conclusion I came up with was why not buy several of them? hahaha .. Would be very expensive though, but for ease of use and convenience it's an excellent idea (issues with suspect players aside).

Are we all assuming the people on the receiving end were behind hard cover in a CQB situation?

If they weren't then they probably shouldn't be throwing any grenades back, regardless of who owns them if they were in a room when a grenade went off and were 'hit', just as they shouldn't be shooting back.

I also think that at a decent site it's a non-issue, it's possible someone might reload one and throw it back but it seems to be a case where all the stars would have to be aligned and you have a muppet that was behind cover, knew what type of BFG it was to go for it, know how it works and have time to reload and deploy it back....

This does look like a very nice bit of kit and at that price I can see it seriously limiting the sales of the EDD, I know I'd get this one instead but I think I'd want to know the dimensions first, one of the big draws for the oshiboom for me is the compact size.

No, I am assuming the person on the other end is a site regular in a room with no hard cover, or exits other than an open window with a 20ft drop to the ground.

I've got 4 impact grenades, usually take out three on a normal run. The amount of times I have seen people not take them as a hit has left me somewhat pessimistic about it all. People slag off milsimmers, but I never had anyone refuse to take it at a milsim game, I only have these issues at a couple of supposedly well respected sites that I no longer choose to attend.
