paranoiddroid
I want more scifi guns now please please bring me a Dl44
swatti
Larger bore cylinder shaped differently to use more of the frame. Sadly that means R&D and why would anyone bother, they just copy each other.
Crying Scum
Indeed, let's hope they copy at least the v2.Also, since I never bought from S&T before, how easy is it to get parts from them? I seen people struggle to get replacement parts for their DSR-1, or other parts for that matter, from ARES directly with no luck.
Habakure
Larger bore cylinder shaped differently to use more of the frame. Sadly that means R&D and why would anyone bother, they just copy each other. In this case, s&t are the original oem or even the middle man between them and ares... So many lays to the airsoft onion. beta678
Oh wow a M12, that's interesting... too bad its a not a GBB, won't be able to replicate the grip safety... just another nice looking rebodied sewing machine...
Habakure
Same goes for your post, pointing out the obvious (regarding the fact it's a aeg, and that all aegs are are sewing machines). Would have been better if you had ended the sentence with a proposition. . .
BigAl
At least the Sterling looks more accurate than that dreadful other one with Systema Style Cylinders.
paranoiddroid
Wasn't that a specific version sterling the l4 the aussie one not the British one everyone wanted and thats the reason everyone hates it?
Habakure
It was the Canadian version (if memory serves me well).
Gunnman
I like how the people who *badgeress* about new AEG's not being GBB are the same people who *badgeress* when their newly acquired GBB eats itself the first 500 rounds.
renegadecow
LOL! You sound like you're new to the hobby. Airsoft is 10% gameplay, 20% looking around on the internet, and 70% badgeressing about not playing or things found on the internet. At any rate, it's been proven that increased badgeressing and whining gets heard by someone, somewhere *cough* WE *cough*. edit: Had to change the swear words. Apparently using the present participle of swear words goes through he filter.

For me it's 90% looking around on the internet, 10% wishing I had money lol
BigAl
Wasn't that a specific version sterling the l4 the aussie one not the British one everyone wanted and thats the reason everyone hates it? The reason I hated it was it was a ###### poor replica. I've never seen a Sterling no matter what model or where it was made that had four shiney black philips head screws spaced round the receiver in front of the magwell. paranoiddroid
I have seen a sterling which was held together with Philips screws but that was a rebuild from a dewat whilst he welded the bits that needed welding iirc. But with how hyped it was that it was going to be so amazingly realistic I can see the annoyance. I would love a sterling if I could get mags easily and just find some way to justify it. Maybe a RAF kit from the 80's?
faramon
The DSR-1 has my attention because I just kinda want one and that price is a bit more affordable. Original URLs are not working for me by the way.

pugwash
Does anyone have any news on the M12? I like my submachine guns and this one is on my 'will buy despite the earbending' list!
chas
The Sterling is out in a few HK shops: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/s-t-sterling-aeg.html#.Vd17vLcVhpo The M12, with a folding stock, is available at a few japanese shops, for 250-270$. S&T needs to lower these prices, IMO. http://item.rakuten.co.jp/star-shop/staeg72/
chas
The M12S (with stock) is available at EHA now. Not really happy about the price tag, TBH. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/s-t-m12s-aeg.html#.Vs2NdrfSldg
Horsem4n
I'd expect a steel body from them at that price. But I guess my t64 should have the same material receiver. I'll let you know how it feels when it comes in.
Gunnman
S&T stuff is always overpriced.
chas
Finally, the DSR-1 is available! Oddly, someone has decided the first version should have a greenish upper.
