Inspector
Hopefully this isn't a duplicate thread. Saw this on Facebook yesterday!! https://m.facebook.com/weairsoft/albums/903384176352358/ From what I've heard of the ksc version this looks more promising.
renegadecow
To be fair, I believe he was referring to the "soviet edition" which is the same old PMM but with the new brown grips as standard ($20 value on its own) making for a pseudo PM.

Well dang it. I guess in all the excitement I didn't notice it was still a double stack...my most sincere apologies. Not so exciting anymore
blobface
Well, since I couldn't figure where to put this, I might as well put it here.. Full steel kit for the WE PPM, $415.
hitmanNo2
Steel slide without CO2 on a WE doesn't inspire too much confidence from me.
volante
I was able to shoot WE PPM with steel kit. It has quite fun recoil with green gas and steel kit's quality is also good. Although steel kit has no marking at all...
renegadecow
If this is the same product, the added weight of steel doesn't seem to hinder performance much if at all. https://youtu.be/bE_IK9dsC_Y
Got Wood?
Does anyone know if the grips from the WE are the same as the KSC?
renegadecow
Single stack vs double stack.
Got Wood?
Is that in reply to my question?

Hopna
It is in reply, since the WE is a replica of the Makarov PMM (Double stack), whereas KSC copied the Makarov PM (single stack).
Got Wood?
Ah okay
hitmanNo2
Does seem to fair well with just green. Pretty cool. Shame it's such a limited release.
Wingman
Shame its $415.00!
blobface
It is a little awkward that it has absolutely no marking for $415...
Brigg
Also a shame it follows the 654k pattern and not that of the actual pm.
renegadecow
The CRW guy says the actual product will have the Baikal trades. I was wondering the same in that they would have made the sets more appealing if they made them differently like say patterned after those newer angular PMMs.
16kuokhc1
I think it would be more appealing if the sets were designed after the normal Makarov PM with special single stack magazines. Double points if the magazines are compatable with the original frame (Just like the real makarov PM mags in PMMs!)
swatti
"Jeah it's airsoft and all" but pistol mag capacities are getting huge. Do we really need double stack mags? Single stacked leaves so much more on the gas tank, less cooldown and more mag swapping = fun! And of course more gas for heavy weight upgrades. Are there any news if WE will release Co2-mags? They should fit rather easy at least...

They should fit rather easy at least... Your Idea seems nice, but the only issue is that single stack mags have very little gas capacity. Also, I don't think CO2 mags will be necessary at all, since the WE makarov can cycle a steel side even with green gas. If one wants gas for winter, red gas could do... Brigg
Yeah co2 is probably unnecessary for this gun. The slide is sturdy but its fairly small so its not too heavy. Though on the other hand, the velocity with green gas is fairly low without the suppressor, so maybe with co2 it could be bumped up closer to 350.
