16kuokhc1
Wait, is there something going on with Cybergun, or is that just wishful thinking? Most likely just Wishful thinking.... Well, hey, at least Cybergun has not trademarked "M4" yet!
renegadecow
Most likely just Wishful thinking.... Well, hey, at least Cybergun has not trademarked "M4" yet! From their website: "COLT, and the RAMPANT COLT logo are registered trademarks of NEW COLT HOLDING CORP., USA, "M4" is a registered trademark of COLT DEFENSE LLC, USA. Trademarks are used under exclusive worldwide license from NCHC for SOFTAIR® by CYBERGUN S.A., FRANCE."
16kuokhc1
..... And I underestimate the extent of Cybergun again. God hope they didn't trademark the word "the".
Pimpbot
If they ever make a P7, I hope they make a chrome SD version. Loved it since I saw Hans Gruber use it in Die Hard...
Gunnman
MGC made the best P7 in terms of a replica. I would love to see a P9S by anyone. FTC's P9S is a toy at best. Or to shake the system up a little, a Beretta 92 SB or S.
beta678
Kalashnikov Concern "PL-14" Everything I want in a pistol is pretty much there, right up there on my list of pistols next to the M&P.Low bore axis (super biggie personally, don't like much of anything besides M&P and CZ's because of this), polymer lower frame, interchangeable backstrap, ambi controls, and looks like comparable ergo to the M&P.Plus, looks mean. I NEED this.Pretty sure a couple of companies would be interested in producing this.

ninja master of coffee
To bring this closer to the original topic, WE could use this as an opportunity to update a few designs, a heavily updated 1911 would be nice, re-work the Lugar series so they don't wear out and go full auto, a new brownimg HP that has proper hop up and normal sights. After that, they could do a Nambu type 14 if they want to re-work or clone an existing replica. It also depends what they think of as a "classic pistol" do they mean up to the end of WW2 or does Cold War stuff count? If it's just up to WW2 then they have options like the Astra 400 and 600, welrod if they're feeling adventurous, berreta m1934 (again, there's an existing replica to copy). If they want to include Cold War then a Stechkin APS would be lovely and tie in with the Makarov (sort of, since they went for the PMM).
paranoiddroid
A Whitney wolverine would be ace. But it's more modern classic than ww2.
ninja master of coffee
I suspect with things like that it's just too obscure, a GBB ruger mk1 or mk2 would be cool, they will want to make stuff that people easily recognise. That or they're just recatagorising a bunch of models they already have (Lugar, P38, 1911a1, browning HP, upcoming C96).
paranoiddroid
I want iconic impractical guns like the death wish pistol, like dirty harry ' s automag. Hell i'd l9ve to see someone make me an .88 magnum (it shoots through schools) Or if I'm talking silly I want a Samaritan.
tquilha
Somehow, I just got a vision of a huge revolver loaded with Goblin shells...
Pimpbot
Didn't marushin manufacture an automag? It's been probably 5-8 years...but you might want to see if you can find a used one. If memory serves it even came in black and stainless.

If memory serves it even came in black and stainless. Yes, they did. The NBB version was even cloned by Wa Shan, in 8mm to boot (it goes 400 fps on the standard 8mms, which is... enough to go through a cow, I think). I've seen it at one of the HK webshops a few years ago.
tquilha
Classic airsoft is very nice, but I'd like a new, widely available and GBB Automag. With a side order of functioning hop-up and sane FPS on 6mm BBs please...

paranoiddroid
I'd take a WE or KJW automag to be honest. When cloning tm designs iv never had an issue with a WE direct clone.
Pimpbot
I'd take a WE or KJW automag to be honest. When cloning tm designs iv never had an issue with a WE direct clone. For the most part I agree. Although my WE Sig was meh...
DiscoBiscuit
Or a Colt 1903 Hammerless. For a more modern look, make a Bren Ten or any of the later S&Ws Brent Ten...I like your style. P7 would work, too.
tquilha
+1 for the WE or KJW options. Both my main skirmish guns are WE (Sig 226 and XDM) and so far they held up quite well.

Mike_West
Well, that one was UHC, but it's gone now (even if it was a direct TK clone, it took propane and WORKED).
renegadecow
If it were by WE though it would have TM style valves, BBU, and hop.
