Aurora BBU and Gas M1873 series

RA-Tech just released a new 2015 KSC steel slide for the MK23, any news for this? Might build one!

I already checked new RA-tech slide but it was not good as old version.

Its inside dimensions are smaller than original so BBU would suffer tons of friction and needs grinding on BBU's both right and left side.

I recommend Mafioso's slide than RA-tech's.

Hi volante, just checking - I'm planning on buying a Mk.23 and this BBU. So far my shopping list is 1x KSC Mk.23, 1x Mafioso slide and outer barrel, and 1x Aurora BBU. Why is the Mafioso slide preferable to the RA-Tech one, other than being slightly cheaper? Are there any other parts I should be considering?

Thanks.

2015 RA-tech slide has matt black color but Mafioso has glossy black which is more realistic.

And RA-tech 2015 slide has many inner dimensional errors.

For other parts to considering;

Spare stock outer barrels - performs a lot better than steel barrel.

Spare stock hammer - Will break in long term use.

Spare stock mag catch - Will be worn out in long term use as MK23 mas are heavy.

Spare stock inner barrel housing - Can be broken in long term use.

And please check your 'KSC Mk.23' to be taiwan made system7/NS2 version not KSC Japan's 05 hardkick.
