chas
The colour might be a bit light, but I think you are exagerating with the term "nasty".

swatti
Not sure ANY vsr has had any re-sale value... Ever. Regardless of make or upgrades. Most ppl here are still like: "eww, vsr, go away, that might be contagious" Why buy vsr, you can get better for less. How does this S&T gun compare to the Hokkatsu (APS?) model? Story goes it's quite pimped put right out of the box and price sure won't hurt.
beta678
They sold on Evike for $150 before they decided to jack the price up, had one change price in the middle of checkout. $150 for a BA is sorta the max I'd spend on a stock BA, once you hit $200 there's a lot of other options that are better in performance and usability. Some of the WW2 airsoft groups had a thread going on about the 03a3's and out of box performance wasn't that great apparently. Magazines were finicky and the rifles had a high lemon rate with the bolt locking up and trigger failing. Overall, not really worth $200 for a stock BA rifle if you want to field it, the only value I see in it is if you're a WW2 collector/airsofter and want one in your collection, but even then you're probably better off with a Garand or M1 Carbine for your impressions tbh.
