I just dug up this thing:

Supposedly, according to the French airsoft shop in question, this is a Korean-made Dong San/KTW springer. Judging from the photograph with internals strewn about, it works similarly to the old cheap-o springer: you have to break it full 90 degrees to cock it.

The shop itself posted the news back in March, and I'm surprised that nobody caught that one yet.

I'd expect a huge price and more of a "functional prop" rather than "useful"

There's still a fully working and SKIRMISHABLE double barrel shotgun for those who really want one. Alltho 250 bucks for the gun and 40 bucks per 2 shells is a bit of a ripoff...

Goes by the name "Wa Shan" double barrel.

8-9 bbs per shell, gas, decent power. No hopup but can be added easily, also some say Tanaka based shells fit.

Well, what I've heard about the Wa Shan is that it's a particularly clumsy knockoff of the old Hudson design, and I hardly see it on the market these days. And that you need to mod it to use Tanaka based shells.

As for "functional prop", the same could be said of the KTW Winchester. Wonder how long will it take Volante to come up with a gas conversion and shortened barrels. :P

I didn't buy my Wa Shan thinking it was gonna last as long as it has. Got few reinforced parts made, waiting till the OEM parts fail.

So far I'm using the OEM shells, they are built like a tank when you swap the O-rings.

Also I've racked up a nice headcount with my shotty, short trigger-pull, nice spread, decent power... Not that hard to score hits up close.

I have a hudson, never fired it because the shells don't hold gas long enough to put bbs into them, let along put the shell into the gun and pull the trigger.

I also have wa-shan shells, I got one of them to fire from my hand once (They don't fit in the hudson gun) but I've not managed to recreate that as the o-rings are drier than my humour.

But for the KTW thingie that this thread is supposed to be about.... where do the BBs go in?

As with any KTW I expect a really nice looking gun built from terrible plastics and with <200fps muzzle energy,

Gas unit for M1873 is now available and i can ship carbine and Randall model as complete gun with gas unit installed.

If you meaning gas unit for this double barrel, i'm not sure.. :)

And about this double barrel, there is no information in Korean website and among users.

I'm really amazed to see breaking news about Dong San's product in UK forum.

Actually it was on KTW website but there is no parts diagram!

It looks like its detonator of dummy shell is sort of trigger system.

Very interesting system but i don't think it can shoot high fps that many EU and US users want...

I just wonder that will it be available in Korean market and its price.

Well, yeah, I meant gas system for this thing here. As a joke, though. ;)

Better yet: the news came from a French shop - they call it KTW, but at the same time they say it's "Korean-made", so I thought of Dong San, as they already made some copies of KTW guns, under license IIRC.
