Safeword
So I feel like I been waiting for this for ages, the double barrel 1911 - Arsenal Firearms 2011 Dueller Prismatic. I read that Cybergun got the licensing agreement for this last year. I am really looking forward to this gun, a lot of people think its ugly and stupid but I think its just awesome, I were hoping they would make the standard 2011A1 but they chose this and the release date for it because of the new James Bond movie Spectre. Apparently the bad guy in the movie uses one of these as his sidearm. I hate to buy Cybergun again but I need this, damn you Cybergun More info and assembly pictures on Spartan Imports Europe's facebook page >HERE< From the movie: The making of:
hitmanNo2
You know WE are making one too right?
Safeword
Yeah but as a collector, trademarks is everything
DeltaZero
Personally I prefer the look of this cybergun one but it's made by cybergun which puts me off, especially now.. We will see how it goes!
PureSilver
I've gotta say I'm impressed with the build quality on display. Billet-CNC-machined slides are not cheap and are a huge step up from Cybergun's traditional OEM production methods of MIM'd and cast pot metal. I mean, I'm still not gonna buy one, but this is how Cybergun should operate - making high-quality licensed replicas that we actually want to buy.
DeltaZero
Yup I agree with the above its impressive to see proper billet-CNC!
hitmanNo2
And it will only cost you $2500 heh
aznriptide859
*Fast forwards three months*"Oh, Jacques, our dual 1911 seems to have much interest, no?" "Oui, but ze price, it seems a bit too low, don't you think?" "What is it priced at now?" "I believe it is currently sold at $175 American pig dollars." "Nonsense! Raise the price to $500, we must squeeze ze airsoft world of every dollar they have!" "Ahh Claude, you're right! The swimming pool full of cash in my backyard has started to recede, perhaps it is time to refill it!" *cue obnoxious French laughter* (Disclaimer: French people please don't beat me up kthxbye)
NonEx
Haha, I was about to post something similar. No doubt it will happen.
rusTORK
Since Arsenal is involved - i really want to know the end price. As your may know, it's arsenal selling mini-weapons for maxi-prices (mini VSS Vintorez for example).
Safeword
Here's a video Cybergun just posted https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=endd_9AJurY&feature=youtu.be
Safeword
Couldn't edit my last post but; I talked to Spartan Imports on facebook and they said the final product will have silver barrels and compensators, the video they released now was filmed some time back
rusTORK
NICE video. Wrong Recoil Spring Rod, Inner Barrel is too long. Hope they will fix it in final version.
renegadecow
Have to say I'm quite impressed with the video even if it's from Cybergun. Thankfully it's gonna cost a fortune so I wouldn't have to give them any of my money. Interestingly enough, the factory shots have boxes at the back which leaves the impression that it's in Taiwan so maybe a non-Cybergun OEM will be released.
rusTORK
Have to say I'm quite impressed with the video even if it's from Cybergun. Same, same. They probably was made in Arsenal style. Maybe even under their control. Look some of their promo videos:
tquilha
I really hate Cybergun for their practices, but this looks really interesting. Let's see what WE comes up with...

hitmanNo2
Aren't they KJW or something, upgraded ones for CO2 use?
uscmCorps
The airsoft AF2011 seems to have a really odd recoil. Like the front pushes down during the cycling rather than tipping up. Strange.
renegadecow
The airsoft AF2011 seems to have a really odd recoil. Like the front pushes down during the cycling rather than tipping up. Strange. That's actually true for the majority of GBBs if you're looking at it slowly (see Nishiyan's vids) and only during the first moment when the slide starts to move. GBBs don't generate recoil through the muzzle but through the slide bottoming out backwards instead. With a hefty enough slide (and Newton's 3rd law of motion) the frame is thrown forward more noticeably at least until the slide goes back totally which makes it tilt back up again. SuperCriollo
The dual magazine arrangement in the real one is kinda flimsy. Im a bit sceptical on how cybergun is gonna pull it off.it would be annoying if it had to use two separate magazines.
NeoVeNoM
Aren't they KJW or something, upgraded ones for CO2 use? they look like KJW yes, but if it has anything to do with CO2, i don't know. I have bought 2 KP-09 pistols once one CO2 the other greengas, but both were exactly the same apart from the mag. the AF2011 look cool, but as GBB I have my doubts of it functioning good Unless it has been reverse engineered well enough to operate with minimum tolerances on both sides of the double slide. swatti
Kjw sells their parts to anyone willing to buy. Their internals are made for Co2 so why not use their stuff. Less R&D.
