Ics new pistol

It almost looks like an M&P, but some of the details are off.

Interesting though, I hope ICS can bring their quality to the GBB market, would be a refreshing change from having to fix WE junk all the time.

I don't think ics will make a line of guns that we has.

I don't think ics will make a pistol that's trademarked.

That sounds a fairly reasonable assumption to me, I'd guess ICS are trying to avoid any trademark and legal issues by not going down the realistic route but it's going to have to be a well made, well priced very reliable pistol otherwise it's not going to have many potential customers. If they can make something that does work really well then some may buy one as a dependable skirmish sidearm if nothing else, cost of magazines will be interesting as well since it'll be their first gas magazine.

I would agree. Look at those APS glockalikes and Timberwolves. You barely ever see them at fields over here. And if you do, theyre usually with younger kids who don't care about looks yet.

Because its a lot easier for you guys to get unlicensed replicas.

We have to go through loopholes to get proper replicas.

Or wait for cyberskum to sell us the junk. Same with umarex, another company I will never ever give my money too.

Depending on price, quality of the pistol and magazine, I might give it a try. I mean how many more Glocks (nearly impossible to get here in the USA since they've sued or threatened nearly every retailer here), M9's, 1911's (of nearly every variety), SIG's, M&P's  etc do we really need to see? Don't get me wrong, I have a healthy collection of most of the above, but every now and then its nice to see something else put out there. Even these new Twin 1911 and Glock pistols seem to be getting a lot continuing press.

Lets also remember that most of these airsoft pistols, revolvers and rifles never see the light of a field skirmish or CQB  facility. Sometimes it's just nice to shoot something for the sake of shooting.

You never know, could end up being pretty good.

As for the comments about WE, I've got to admit that I've had nothing but good experience with the Makarov, their old Hi-Power and the P-38 I got before the holidays. I know their 1911's have always been suspect, but these WE pistols seem to be doing ok  so far (and they are getting a lot of "range time"). Maybe it's time to give them a bit of a break and just move on.

Where are you based that makes it hard for you to get unlicensed replicas?

The US, we have to deal with everything from destroyed trademarks to not even getting the product. And that's from ordering overseas, if a dealer(Evike, asgi, airsplat) tried this they would be slapped with a c/d and fined(airsplat/Evike).

So we have cyberskum/umarex making company's cut corners for price point!

Now we have cyberskum having vfc make glock replicas for the US market(only reason) and we get ######.

Sure they may be good for you guys but I have yet to hear of a vfc pistol be worth a ###### in the US. Same with the rifles, I know vfc has ###### valves and hammers and are overpriced because cyberskum and umarex are terrible company's.

Why should I or anyone else pay for we quality for liscenced price?

Tm is way overpriced here and people will still replace 80-90% of the gun with an aftermarket company. That's why I say tm is not worth it but then again I dont have all the money in the world to waste.

If you are going to ditch more than half the oem why buy it in the first place!

People like the fact that you can do that. It's like when people modify a Toyota Supra, there's nothing really wrong with the stock car in the first place.

Sad thing is, very few TM pistols need those upgrades for anything other then bragging about being able to open their gun up and tinker.

Lazouche on YouTube is a good tuner because he uses mostly stock parts, elbow grease and ingenuity make the gun look unique and perform well.

Hey, I'd say that the people most interested in non-replica airsoft guns like the APS UAR, glockalikes etc. are propmasters from studios working for Syfy and its Canadian counterpart, Space Channel.

IMO marui pistols need upgrades to last the pace on green gas/propane etc, every marui I own needs some sort of upgrade, mostly nozzles and trigger bars etc.

20000 rounds through my tm 1911 disagrees with you(20k before I ever replaced a part). 5000 through a tm p226 (again, no upgrades or repairs in that time)

(Sorry, I have to mention that every time, I'm a TM fanboi)

Is there any more information about the ICS pistol? Will it be metal or poly frame and slide. I would be very surprised if it wasn't able to shoot green gas from the box, in the world wide airsoft market, there isn't much of a place for a gun that can only shoot duster any more.
