Marushin CO2 Raging Bull

Not much else to go with really other than it being 6mm; just a banner on their site for now which says it all. What's interesting though is it appears to use different shells from the gas X-Cartridge in that the bullets are of the copper jacketed type and the rear no longer has a gasket or o-ring to seal against the frame.

I always wanted a Raging Bull from Marushin but the lack of space and the guns only being 6 and 8 inch versions I have never bought one, but if they could make this with the 2" barrel I would be all over it  :D

Also looking behind the gun in the banner, will it come with a speed-loader?

One of these has been on my list for years but airsoft revolver's report is always meh.  CO2 might be able to convince me. I know probably not a not louder but can't hurt matters.

I finally got me one of their j frames (2" model 60) and it's surprisingly loud. Like a lot louder than most TM GBB pistols but not nearly as ear piercing as a KWA MP9. Not very accurate though. It's not so much just barrel length but the amount of gas used behind the bb as well as my Tanaka .500 will make your ears ring indoors if adjusted to over 400fps even with the 8 3/8" barrel.

I never shot a Marushin revolver and walked away saying "wow". They make cool guns, but they're a small company with iffy QC.

My 8mm P210 is a really reliable gun, I got a 6mm P210 new and it pretty much fell apart.

TBH, I don't really care for the CO2. I had one of their old 6in 8mm raging bulls and it had plenty of power on green gas (330fps with .34g 8mm BBs).

Now, if it's a project for ASG and they are also going metal, then we are talking. Marushin's revolver hopup is still better than the one in the 715.

So why Tanaka?

Once you de-restrict them, then maybe tune the hop. You actually get a revolver that performs like an modified NBB. They're still not the be-all end-all of revolvers; they have their problems but they are reliable compared to anything ASG has put out. Other revolver rely on shells, that end up being inconsistent in power and accuracy. You can modify the shell and it's quite easy to train to reload without dropping them. But once a new system arrives with new and approved shell design you have to re buy the new shells. It adds up.

Tanaka uses a system that is simple to reload with a speedloader, too. I never owned a TM but I hear good things about them too.

Other revolver rely on shells, that CAN end up being inconsistent in power and accuracy.

Fixed.

Shells that use mold injected plastic can be very inconsistent. Shells which are made from turned brass and aluminum with an o-ring for retention, have good tolerances in the chambers and good seal/alignment with the forcing cone will not give you problems.
