Inspired by pics of French RAID Teams, I was planning on grabbing a G36 aeg and doing it up with a B&T ris and euro style top rail, but looks like VFC are releasing that configuration in what will be an undoubtedly cheaper option.  Just keeping my fingers crossed that with the improvements its a little more reliable than the original because the externals are looking gorgeous (dear VFC, please release an AEG version so I can actually skirmish these beauties!).

heres the full list of improvements translated from wgc facebook page

The new, Umarex/ VFC G36 GBB gen 2, well be released as the combo with LLM -like laser/ illuminator. And the upgraded parts are noted as the pictures below.
1. Single loading mechanism in the magazine lip.
2. New high performance insert.
3. New reinforced nylon nozzle, which provides better air-seal and resolves jamming issue.
4. New hop-up chamber is compatible with VSR spec hop up packing.
5. Compatible with CO2 mag
HK G36 V2 features
- new hop into design, always against ballistic with stability do upgrade
Machine-Gun Shell Enhanced Design, increased resistance to India for the upgrade
- type sh? yòng combination with aircraft, aimed at strengthening the vaporization
- Mags. New Stand with new mouth mag base plate design, screws lock way too, re-Engineered
- with the support of the co2 mags.
- single row on play, worry-free play card

Personally I'm a little wary and I'll wait for reviews. Looks like they've also got a UMP-9 GBB coming out, on VFC facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/VegaForceCompany/

Is that machine translated? :P

It's funny that the translator thinks bolt carrier = machine gun, the two things written in Chinese characters are like AB and BA

HK G36 V2 features

- New hop chamber assembly deisgn aimed at improving (ballistic) stability

- Stronger bolt carrier design, better durability against abrasion

- One-piece bolt head/loading nozzle, improves vaporization performance (hmm? I guess that vaporization thing is done in the mag)

- New magazine output bucking(packing?) design, screw mounting of base pad also get re-designed

- with the support of the co2 mags.

- Single stack feeding, "without fear of jamming"

I just used google translate.  I'm hoping that "improves vaporization performance" and "magazine output bucking" refers to improved cooldown performance and a less leak-prone mag design.  I'm guessing so since they put up pictures of the mag baseplate.  Idn if i'm remembering correctly but wasn't the magazine the Gen 1's achilles heel (seemed to be the case for other VFC gbbs like the UMP).  Judging by other comments on Arnies though, maybe VFC is upping their QA?  As an HK fan I'm hoping that's the case.

If (and that's an important if) they pair their externals with reliable and durable internals, they could be the leading example in the GBB market.

Reliable and durable means excellent R&D and testing and not making parts out of cheese.

The old one had some fairly major issues:

1) The feedlips were literally clamshelled plastic less than 1mm thick. They broke a LOT. Sometimes even from the stress of holding bbs in the magazine in your pouch.

2) The magazines loved to leak from every *fruitcage* place

3) The magazine baseplates were weak as hell and would crack, leaving the magazine worthless and unusable

4) The magazines were expensive on top of all that

5) The hop-up unit adjustment toggle would fall out under recoil, jamming the bolt carrier

6) The hop-up unit's feed ramp was not tapered well enough, leading to bbs getting crushed between the bolt carrier, nozzle and hop-up unit, leading to a broken hop-up unit and nozzle.

7) The feed ramp was also made out of such soft plastic that it would deform under normal usage (even if only dry firing) and eventually cause the same type of jamming, destroying the nozzle and hop-up unit.

8) The hammer springs were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overpowered, leading to sluggish action, gas inefficiency and spluttery full auto. You could literally remove one of the hammer springs (it uses two) and it would still run just fine on green gas and 35C weather, so it wasn't a matter of eliminating light strikes

9) The nozzle was made of very weak plastic which would break at the loading fin, leading to no bbs loading properly, jamming in the bolt face and destroying the nozzle and hop-up unit (see a trend?)

10) The hammer set was made of pot metal. Admittedly, this never became a problem for me because I could never go more than 10 magazines before the nozzle died and took the hop-up unit with it

11) The hop-up rubber was based on the old VFC "AEG rubber with no feed lips" design, which was wank.

Seems like they're claiming to have eliminated some of those issues, which is good.
