Looking at getting a PEQ 15 as part of my 416 project...Ordering from AirsoftGi and they've not really had dimensions listed. So I require some help in finding ones that would fit. Sadly my googlefu is weak and time is limited. Any and all help would be appreciated. Looking mainly to stay away from lipos for the moment but if it works...it works.

I hear you OP. I use a king arms brand peq16 with a 10.8v NiMh battery to avoid using lipos.

The cell size is about the same as a CR123, and my battery packs have 2x3 cells. Sorry, don't remember the dimensions off the top of my head.

Be aware that only the King Arms Brand PEQ16 battery boxes are big enough for a 9.6v or 10.8v 1600 mah NiMh. All other PEQ are smaller sized to fit lipos.

since 10.8v PEQ16 batteries are discontinued, I ordered 10.8v intellect 1600mah stick batteried to be cut and resoldered into a PEQ configuration. Hope this helps!

I doubt if you would succeed assembling an Nimh accupack that's big enough, and fit in an LA-5 or Peq-15.

There is realy not much space inside , tried the same for my MP7, wouldnt use lipo either, but i gave it up, gonna swith to lipo now
