H&K 416C, 416D and M27 by Specna

Horrible markings, but nothing that can be solved with a sticker or even an aftermarket body.

They all have a quick spring change gearbox (you do have to take the geaorbox out, though) and cost around 210-220 Euros.

Note the newer type of pistol grip and stock.

I ordered a 416C yesterday. According to some sources, they are pretty decent, but may need a hop up rubber and a precision barrel.

On Saturday I came across a bunch of guys running them, sounded good when they were put though the crono and ok though Sordins (If you have heard a TM recoil you will know what I mean!).

I'd buy one of those C's, but I have enough RIF's

Those specna guns seem to have the same gearbox the old P&J from taiwangun, which were actually A&K rebranded.

Personally, i'm more attracted to the M27, its a bit different and appealing as a "correct" support M4 LoL!

you can also check my reviews if you wanna see more of the Specna replica's

Ha ha, I'm seriously tempted!

The chap who runs ak2m4 was looking to get some of these as well: https://www.facebook.com/ak2m4/posts/1828728364060879 suggests they are made by E&C.

Specna Arms is just Gunfire.pl's in-house brand. Just as Taiwangun.com's in-house brand is P&J.

Neither company manufactures anything, they just contract OEMs in the PRC to make things to their spec and put their markings on them.

Received my 416 C a few days ago.

Not withstanding the Specna markings and lack of H&K markings and the overall matte black finish (some grey would be nice), as well as the incorrect flash hider (bought a correct one from VFC), externalwise it's a nice gun. Heavy and hefty. it came with a broken forward assist button, though. That's a first.

Shoots very nicely, good hop up, good ROF for a small 7.4V at 400 FPS. PEQ-15 battery case is realistically sized, because the battery is so small. Love it.

Bolt release works, selector clicks smoothly, but the sliding stock is a nightmare: it came in switched upside down and you need to push the levers on both sides for it to work. It's so hard, you need to put the gun down to fully extend it. Now it wont stay in the closed position, but it's so stiff it doesnt move on its own.

Another problem are the magazines, they are propietary: instead of a square hole in the mag for the mag catch to hold on to, there's no hole, but rather two protusions.for the mag catch to hold on to. Basically VFC compatible, but won't take regular AEG mags like Dboys, Cyma, KA, etc.

Also, it includes a quick spring change GB. Not the SAEC system, but it's still quicker than a regular AEG.

All in all, I am happy with the purchase, but for that price I would expect the stock to perform better. And how the frward assist button could break is a mistery to me.

Aaaaand that's the sound of this product dieing a slow, agonizing death.

Can you at least swap the mag catch out and use normal mags then?

I forgot to add that: they seem to be the same size, so yeah. A 4$ regular AEG mag catch should solve the "problem".

I've just received the 416d today from gunfire (after GLS gave the package a tour of the whole country first) and it also has the broken forward release button.

My stock tube seems loose but I had asked for it to be downgraded before it was shipped due to the 328fps limit imposed here, so when I've access to suitable tools I'll sort that out and change the mag release. I bought a box of five specna arms midcaps and they won't lock in place either.
