I shared a lot information about the WELL G74 series. I think it is worth of money even it is not ready for skirmish out-of-box. We have around 15 pieces in the local GBBR fan club and we have massive knowhow about this gun - for exmple, we made an OTs-14 conversion kit the G74A. In the last game, we recorded a nice video about our guns. You can see how they work in the following video, for example:

If you have budget, I recommend to buy two gun and CO2 mags. Because the gun are really cheap, it is worth to buy two to having replacement parts. In theory it is fully WE-compatible but I can not confirm it - after 2 weeks I will test a lot reinforcement parts and replacement about how compatible they are. This time we tested few parts and they was drop-in fit but few part has a little difference - for example, check my photos about the magazines, etc.

Is this an exact WE clone? Any substantial differences besides the much better furniture? Is the whole front assembly pot metal like the WE PMC? What are the markings to the right of the left side of the barrel trunnion? Are they Izhmash markings or some random fat star (too fat for Tula) like on the WE?

There's some good info on these in the WE AK thread starting from this post;

Look, Kamerad.

I looked at those posts before I said anything. I wanted to know more details. What is the outer barrel made out of (I assume pot metal)? What about the barrel trunnion? The front sight block? Gas block? None of those were specified.

Apparently I cannot ask any questions? I read those posts. I am about to be crucified for asking a simple question?

Is it coincidental that you always seem to show up whenever I decide to post something? I am almost 100% sure you would not have got involved in this thread had I not said anything in the first place. Your presence in many cases seems to be intertwined with mine. Why don't you just leave me alone? Lol. If you do not like anything I say, do not respond to anything I say.

However, I sense that you actually enjoy stalking my every move on this site. Fetish much?

The guy literally posts which parts are steel in the exact post I linked to... ? :o

If he has run a magnet over the rifle, and determined that the listed parts are steel, then if you use your brain to perform a Boolean operation you can extrapolate that the parts not listed are... not steel.

what in the *fruitcage* man I am done with this guy making my blood pressure go through the roof over here.

Then trying to come back with some ###### answer that you have read the information and it does not answer your question... AAAAAAGH!

http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/199502-we-aks-74un-first-impressions-pic-heavy/?p=2760908

With my friend we ordered a few from them - Well G74A.

It came with CO2 magazine, it has steel receiver, dust cover, trigger guard, fire selector, stock and few FCG parts also made from steel.

The hammer, firing pin, sear made from steel, the other parts made from zamak (as the stock WE). The nozzle spring is really weak and the gun often comes with damaged nozzle spring. The magazine is using CO2 and it is much better designed as the stock WE - with double o-ring design, the valve-pin sit in an o-ring and the valve-pin centered by a copper part and an o-ring.

With this pricetag I think is worth of it. If you buy two than you also saved a lot money and it has half-steel FCG parts. You need to take appart the gun, replace the nozzle spring, hopup rubber and reassembly it - and I also recommend the addictional buffer to reach short-stroke or using buffer spring with full travel stock configuration.

That is why I would like to asking which parts are steel on WE AKs74u (externally)? <-- He asks this.

- Sight-block

- front sight assembly

- recoil spring guide block

Thank you so much for the info.  Looks like the most important parts in the FCG are upgraded then  :)

None of the above.  <- He answers the above asked question with this.

WE AK74UN external steel parts are the exact same you listed for the Well + the outer barrel and the booster (muzzle device).  <-  And this.

Is the hop unit WE style? wheel type with VSR-type bucking and inner barrel?

EDIT: To add quotes, bold text, spelling errors and additional information. NOT to clean up any "mean" comments... FFS.

EDIT2: I have Reported your above post to the mods and asked that they review your "behaviour" on this forum because I honestly feel that it is starting to have an overall negative impact on the tone and dynamics on these forums and it is upsetting more than a few people and I don't like it. I don't think you are a professional troll, and for that I can only give you my condolences, but I don't know if this can go on...

Well, you people have upset me long before.

How am I promoting a 'negative' environment? Everything I do on here, no matter what it is, turns into a shitshow. Why is this? No idea. I do not ever try to start trouble. No, that's not how I operate. However, my entire account is riddled with a bunch of . All of this 'drama' surrounding me has largely been provoked through the means of three or four users on here, who are constantly ridiculing me and trying to stir up the pot. What have I done here that has been perceived as so 'negative?' I was simply trying to ask a question. That is all. I could have asked the most legitimate question that the situation affords, and someone on here even still would find a way to shitpost about me. I've tried to think both for and against myself to see other perspectives, and I realise that I have certainly become a scapegoat.

I post things that are completely on topic, and then at least one out of a certain five users on this forum come and start a bunch of drama. Historically, it has usually been DarkLite. He's responded in some form to every thread I've started, and even most threads I have commented on (including this one). I've asked him to stop posting, to ignore me, but yet it is always him or someone else trying to cause conflict.

It is very ironic, actually. It is clear that he absolutely despises me (odd how you could 'hate' some anonymous presence on the internet. It's a strange phenomenon), yet he almost always gets involved in my posts. Why? If I promote such a 'negative' environment, how come my posts still attract the same people that 'hate' me so? It is like you people deliberately click on any thread that mentions me, proceed to get fed up by whatever I am saying, and then launch some sort of 'attack' on me. This cycle repeats over and over and over again. It is insanity. And what? What brought this on? All of this rage and vendetta stemmed from a single, harmless question?

Do you mean to tell me that my 'horrible' asking of a question instilled a climate of negativity into this thread? I highly doubt it. My question was originally responded to in a civil way. However, DarkLite just HAD to pop right in and insert some completely off topic image board about being 'spoon fed.'

If my question was stupid or redundant, it could be dismissed in a civil way, as Batmause had done. There is no reason to do it any other way. Sadly, most everything I post is followed by some sort of attempt by rabble rousers to put words in my mouth.

Anyway, that's enough. If you want to continue this discussion, send me a PM and I'll gladly oblige you.

All of that is specified in the post linked above. And the dealer's description, like gunfire and taiwangun,

You didn't asked a question, you made a claim base in absolutely nothing, in the most negative way possible, Once again.,

You asserted that Well had somehow better furniture, when the 74U is exactly the same as the WE but with a pot metal barrel instead of steel (WE has steel barrel), wobbly everything, exploding rear trunnion, lesser quality plastics, and overall quite poorly assembled. How can that be "better furniture"??

As for the 74M, WE doesn't have such model, so I don't see how can you even compare, And the "wood AK74M" is nothing but a frankenstein gun, with AKM gas block, 74 muzzle device, and a horrendous looking "wooden" stock and handguards.

How could you even think Well has better furniture than WE?

---------

Apart from that, Well's have cast steel hammer, firing pin and sear, which is supposedly better than WE's pot metal, but the fit and finish there left much to be desired. I'm placing my chips they'll require a CNC steel replacement in the long run anyway, And the nozzle's spring is broken out of the box in every single one of them.

Sure, CO2 mags are a welcome adittion for those whom play in really, really cold weather, and the price can be quite cheaper, depending on where you source each gun., But they are certainly not better than WE. The Well AKs are mostly a project gun. Something for experienced techs to buy, strip to the very last part, and assemble again applying some hacks here and there to fix the numerous known issues.

I was going to write a long response but Dimitri summed it up pretty nicely.

Once again you ignore the respons, reference, advice and guidance given to you and instead say how we all bully you and put you down and offer nothing in terms of help...

Why do I get catfished into these posts all the time. Bläergh.

If he is trolling, he plays you guys every time.

There was a time when I used to get accused of trolling because I used to say CYMA internals were as rock solid, even compared to TM. All you had to do was downgrade the spring.

This was 2009 and no one believed me.

1) You didn't read it, because the information you've requested is LITERALLY SPELLED OUT EXPLICITLY IN THE POSTS WE HAVE LINKED TO.

2) It's not a co-incidence, I just have a very low tolerance for the type of wilful ignorance that you espouse, and as I want to try and make sure that the informative sections of this forum are as free from bad behaviour (EG: Blatant requests for spoonfeeding) and stupidity (EG: Almost all of your posts) because other people, months or years from now, will be searching for information and I don't want them to take *suitcase* for gospel.

3) I posted in this thread before you. I know you don't seem to be able to read very well, but for *fruitcage*'s sake, do make an attempt to keep up.

1) If everything you post in turns into a shitshow, and you are the only variable that is evident across all of these threads, that might be an indication that you are the problem here, not everyone else.

2) You don't post 'on topic', you loudly bleat stupid statements, ignore advice and then get upset when people tell you to stop. Then you loudly bleat about how mean everyone is to you.

3) I don't despise you, actually, I feel sorry for you. Your ignorance has reached such a critical mass that it has become intrinsic to your sense of self and you have reached a point where you cannot acknowledge any possibility of your own accountability for fear of denting your ego. If this is how bad the never-ending shitstorm you cultivate gets on a text-based forum, I cannot fathom how badly it must affect the people you interact with in reality.

4) Image about spoonfeeding is totally offtopic, claims man who demands to be spoonfed.

I would agree with you, but it seems that the latest iteration of CYMA gearboxes have changed. No more neodymium 24tpa motors as standard, now we get *suitcasey* ferrous ones and the sintering on the gearsets seems to be lower quality now, I've had three gears shed teeth of late. :C

This is likely because Neo motors don't pass the EMC compliance for European importation.  Seems like CYMA's biggest client is in Europe.
