The Insider
A sad state of affairs has evolved today in Hong kong, starting with a missing airsofter, then found seemingly after a fatal fall, which then become a homicide and arrest of 3 others. http://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/law-crime/article/2096110/dead-hong-kong-hiker-was-attacked-and-pushed-down-hill afternoons breaking news... Gunmane
Only a week or so ago we had that post on reddit about someone falling to their death during a game, and now premeditated murder. A cruel world where even the things we participate in to have fun, to have passion in, get twisted by fate or others.
renegadecow
Man, I was just reading yesterday about how someone supposedly got lost and died in those hills. Didn't know it was this bad.
Cannonfodder80
I read about this earlier. While it's sad that his life has been taken, what does airsoft have to do with it? Yes he played, but from we hat I read it didn't happen in game, but on a night hike

bladerunner168
I read about this earlier. While it's sad that his life has been taken, what does airsoft have to do with it? Yes he played, but from we hat I read it didn't happen in game, but on a night hike Whilst not directly linked to a skirmish, it's quite a tragic tale. Local news outlets reports that the victim, a 20 year old AC engineer was lured up the mountain to scout for potential Airsoft skirmish spots and also to take pictures. The motive is reported to stem from a bad sales transaction of a piece of RS gear which the press doesn't specify. The victim was the buyer and one of the accused has a bad rep on the HK selling scene for being dodgy. It's still unknown why the victim went up there with the three accused if he had a dispute with them but the victim did bring a friend. Somehow, the three accused manage to divert the friend away and then they attacked the victim by stabbing him and then throwing him off the cliff. A massive operation was then conducted when the family of the victim reported him missing and the emergency services went looking for him up the mountain. They knew the three accused were there too and requested that they showed them where they had been that night and asked questions as to why and what they were up to. That's when one of the accused broke and said they only wanted to teach the victim a lesson but things got out of hand. A very sad and tragic incident.
