Am reading and seen pictures that Redwolf's UK warehouse has burnt down.

Hope all safe.

I was going to crack a joke about lipo chargers being left on overnight, but ###### hell, that's a total loss.

Don't look like the UK Airsoft retailers are going to have to worry about the competition for a while !

I'm just so glad no one was injured as that looks horrific.

The reverse actually, as this business was also a wholesaler as well..

8 Years ago or so I'd have agreed, back then looking around airsoft retailers a significant amount of stock would have been coming from Redwolf (I also bought from them in those days, pre making my own wares) but now when I look around I mainly see products from ASG or WE Europe and less and less that could be from Redwolf which is why I assumed they started down the direct sales road.

I'm sure they still do a fair bit on the wholesale side but I don't think other retailers are so dependant now, still a shame though as I've always found they were good to deal with, both on a wholesale and direct basis.

Well, I cant see a customs person really going "Oh dear, that looks like a banana mag and its not an AK mag... CALL THE UMAREX HOTLINE!"...somewhere in germany, a lawyer picks up a red flashing plastic phone, V1s are launched at your house...etc etc

I'm glad to see folk her are being a little more mature than other places. I've seen people on social media actually saying it's good as they're too expensive. Never mind the fact that people's livelihoods have been ruined

Hopefully suitably insured so they'll be back at some point.  I personally don't care for RWA but loosing any airsoft business is a bummer.

Hopefully they will bounce back soon enough, as has been said, it is people's actual livelihood.

Records of what was in stock are most likely digital so they could get a nice payout off insurance.

Assuming records were off-site. And insurance company isn't an *albatross*. "You stored GUNS there? You didn't sign any special insurance about GUNS! We're taking this to the police first, let's see if your business was even LEGAL..."

As registered firearms dealers you need to have very specific insurance but even so the insurance companies will not offer you the full value of what was lost
