  1. Thanks alot guys. The Marui one is currently my favorite as there's no issue with the stock not being able to fully collapse. Will have a look at the PTS one as well.
  2. Hey Gents, can anyone recommend a sling attachment for the Sopmod stock. The ones I found on WGC by Freedom Art are sold out. I'd prefer one which comes with the QD swivle. Thanks.
  3. @Hatchet: Isamu is correct, they haven't really changed the 'system' of the HU take down. It needs a bit of force since the stock TM innerbarrel and the HU rubber sit very very tight inside the HU unit. According to BobaFett a MadBull inner barrel combined with a TM HU rubber gives you the needed 'space' for smoothly removing the inner more easily.
  4. ありがとうございます。AnakChan-san You make my day!!! and someone elses too! Since I'm pretty new in the Sopmod-Club, may I ask what these Diamond Ring bars are good for? Think from in previous post I read something about the reduction of the resistance for the battery current. Pls advice, thanks
  5. to be honest, I really don't have a clue on how this could happen. I just noticed that the magcatch wouldn't hold the mag properly (it just fell off the mag well), so I slammed it back in. This maight have been the point where the it gave the first stress on the HU, with the bend lip, and caused the first crack on the nozzle. It (the nozzle) worked for another 4-5 hours feeding and accelerating BB's but then it finally gave up and completely broke. But I blame myself for it and not the gun.
  6. Finally I had the first chance to test my SOPMOD, yesterday. And what to say....this gun is pure sex!!!!!! Unfortunately in the heat of the battle it seems like I pushed one mag in too hard, which caused on of the lips on the to of the mag to bend. This resulted in the Hop-Up unit to be pushed upwards and putting too much pressure on the Nozzle, which in the end broke....(just my guess). But since there is already the replacement part available the only thing I'm now worried about is taking the guns apart and changing to Nozzle..
  7. Nice pics, Cpt. Quick question, what's that patch with the roo you're wearing? Self-made?
  8. 1. because I haven't had one in my collection 2. it was a real bargain here's a small appetizer of my war room. It ain't finished yet since we just moved into our new home.
  9. that's how I like my parcels(about 10 KG) DPDU #6 in my collection if I counted correctly. not my size....but I only wanted the hat and the OBW(4) patch anyway If my wife finds out I started buying uniforms just because of the patches I'm screwed! Rucksack covers and shiny shoes for the poly dress Polydress, although its not my size it was a real bargain (20 AUD) Land 125 knee & ellbow pads and as a bonus the seller added a distress maker the boxes also contained an old skool webbing. More to come next week....hopefully
  10. the Aussies call them NAD (Night Aiming device). I'm not sure if it's still the case but it used to be produced by BAE Systems. The official term is LAS-840. Cheers Jens
  11. Looking great, Cpt. Think I gotta visit Sweden and bring my stuff for a nice game with you guys. @jotaerre....3 sidearms = overkill
  12. @ketix...well, so far no one came up with a full-velcro uniform, so I thought this might be a nice idea Infact I turned more to the collectors side than the airsoft one and was lucky a mate of mine wanted to sell his collection. So I took the chance and grabbed it. Talked to him last night and he promised to get me another green subdued australian flag patch. If you take a look at the one in the very bottom row you find it being a reverse one. These sets very made for SASR in Iraq. As for the rest of the patches I found out that most of them are not approved/ official ones made in-
  13. Finally found some time to take a pic of my latest addition to my aussie collection: Crazy Wallaby Collection proudly presents: 70 genuine aussie patches from the MEAO (Middle Eastern Area of Operation) The bottom row is the goodie toss-in from the seller. I'm pretty sure that patches 4+5 form the top in the very right colum are US patches which some Aussie was attached to. If my wife ever finds out how much I paid for the I'm DEAD!!!!!!!!
  14. the bush hat was a swap deal with a mate of mine. And the enemycam was offered to me from a fellow collector. Will post close-ups tomorrow. Maybe I should start taking photos of everything I have in my collection and put the pics on my website..
