KALASH69
Its okay Joe, I know what it looks like. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks dude! EDIT: I cant seem to find an adapter (just the adapter) so I might have to get a replica norotos.
masakarijoe
dont do that. keep looking, they are easy to find, and cheap. -Joe
Aeros
you don't necessarily need the MICH adapter, It Should work fine as is. I've seen a few pics of them on MICH's (not real reference pics however lol) you just have to screw it on but yeah, as Joe said, you can find them for a good price if you keep looking im sure. Unless of course you Want a norotos hehe
Robinio
Damn, I just ordered a Marpat helmet cover, however I have velcro on my lid and would like to keep it when I have the helmet cover, you guys think sewing velcro on the helmet cover works?
KALASH69
You could, but it wouldnt look very good, or accurate.

Hispeed1
Hi guise. I was just wondering-is there currently a USMC issue Peckham Polartec fleece jacket in woodland MARPAT? There is a desert version, but I haven't seen a woodland one. Is it not a priority because of the current major AO? (Masakarijoe help) Looking for this but in woodland MARPAT:
KWP
Never seen a woodland version. I'd say there is no woodland version.
Robinio
Got my OTV, Its kinda short, but I have one question, Can I use the arm protectors on my legs? or will it just look ugly? EDIT: Pic
Curtis G.
Got my OTV, Its kinda short, but I have one question, Can I use the arm protectors on my legs? or will it just look ugly? I wouldn't recommend it, to save you from embarrassment. Why would you though? Wouldn't knee-pads be sufficient? -Curtis G.
Robinio
No, because theres molle on it
KALASH69
Just get a couple of leg panels. Theres no where near enough molle on the arm protectors to mount anything sufficient, it would be a waste of space.
tomster
I want to see a pic of you wearing those DAPS on your legs though!

Robinio
Oki, here it is, a quick one. Not for any heavy molle stuff.
tomster
lol, that seems to work too. If you didn't tell me, I wouldn't have known they're DAPs.

Fatal
That there is the old 1st Gen Light Weight Helmet and not the 2nd or 3rd one.
KALASH69
Oh wow a LWH replica..of course, the day after I order a new helmet
KWP
That there is the old 1st Gen Light Weight Helmet and not the 2nd or 3rd one. Once the helmet cover is on, you can't tell 1st Gen from 2nd Gen. The head suspension is also not visible from the outside. What would be 3rd Gen? The new 4-point straps are only experimental and meant for the new ECH (Enhanced Combat Helmet) supposed to be issued in 2010.
Squeezee
I figured it was only a matter of time. I just ordered LWH straps off eBay too.

Of course you aren't going to be able to see the suspension. But for those people who are all about the little details, such as yourself the info might be of some use. I actually preferred the suspension system over the crappy pads. Gen 1 - suspension system Gen 2 - Pads Gen 3 - Coyote Paint / Chinstrap Of course the Gen system I came up with to better ID each helmet, not like it matters though.

I even prefer the old PASGT head suspension. I thought the new Coyote chinstraps are just experimental as part of their pre-trials for the new ECH.
