AnakChan
Not certain if this has come up or if it's old news but I just noticed PDI came up with a hopup chamber for the APS SR-2. Sorry it's in Japanese :- http://www.x-fire.org/sr2/chamber.html

counterassasin
Didn't Maruzen already release a ''Long-Range'' version of the SR2?
AnakChan
Out in Airsoft Forums, someone did a review :- http://www.airsoftforum.com/board/Aps-sr2-...ew-t123001.html The limiting factor of this was that it didn't have a hop-up chamber. I'm quite curious that with the hopup, if it's the level that it can start to compete with the L96 or VSR...
Nicoli
Anyone know if the long range version definitly has hop or not? I've seen some sights that say it does, and others that say the only change from the original is a shorter barrel and greay handguard (yeah...'coz that makes it a long range rifle obviously Maruzen...) the reveiew above is the standard version by the looks of it
Horsem4n
yes guys, maruzen caught a lot of flack by only releasing a competition version of the rifle and released a version with hop up. PDIs chamber uses (by the looks of the diagrams) AEG barrels and buckings. only the SR2 long range version is compatible, which sucks because its $100 more than the competition version. the rest of the internals are ASP2 Type 96 style i think.
