nuclear_darkness
From http://www.airsoft-news.eu/news.php Army Code: L85A2 Another L85 will be soon available from Army Code. At least that can be seen from intro movie on YouTube. No information is available, but movie is very convincing. Another new what looks to be full metal l85 on the market. I dont however in the video like the fact that the cocking handle only goes back about an inch before locking, when it should go back fully and then if the bolt catch is activated it should stay back. Ubar
the bolt is no problem really. I thought this mightve been a star copy, but the handguard is different edit- quite a few differences when he takes it down
SwatMP5man
Looks good, but we await a time when it will be out and a price.
SACSlym
dammet now i need to know about this gun before i go about buying my new one
ban_paintball
Army code? Never heard of them, Google isnt being so friendly either.
RSM
They make G36 bodies last I heard Thats quite interesting to see, but am I alone in wondering where the battery goes? I didn't see a connector around the foregrip area...
SwatMP5man
Remember people it doesnt need to be the "bestsest gnu eva2 to be STAR or GnG, it just has to fire a few thousand rounds with breaking.
Lance Jackass
I knew that army code made SUSAT mounts, but a whole AEG? Thats quite a leap. Nice one It's all in the price though. And heres hoping that the cocking handle is all metal construction.
RSM
@SwatMP5Man: Well that and perhaps not need downgrading out the box:P @ LJ: So true, even if it comes in around the current G+G L85 price (or a bit less, we can hope ) I'd be happy as long as it was reliable enough to just get out the box and use with no more than perhaps metal bushings put in later
Pilko
Looks great and very realistic but all I want is a reliable and affordable TM one to be made. I wouldn't care how little metal it had on it.
Tarnish
Nice touch with the working gas plug, shame he doesn't know to set it to N and not 0 the muzzle launched grenades setting. Oh hell the inner pedant is growing stronger! I'm hoping someone, perhaps Army Code will produce a replacement gas plug for the G&G L85 too.
ianhaz
Please army code make a susat....G&G have failed me.
Jack Bauer
What kind of muppet makes a promo for a british assault rifle with rap music as the BGM? It's intresting that another L85 is on the way, but is it wrong that the rubbish "music" turns me off more than the natural ugliness of the prototype?
CobaltSky
I think you just mean the natural ugliness of the L85
The Big Bad
Well lets hope this version lives up to the hype so to date we have a star,g&g, academy and now army code making a sa80
evilliboba
It is nice to see more companies coming out with their own AEG lines. First the was GB-Tech (now VFC), then King Arms, HeroArms, and now Army Code.
rolling-thunder
The poster of the video is Hong Kong based.I've written to them asking for more details or to contact Arnies with more details.Let's hope they understand English & i can understand their reply? The music is from Blade 2 so regardless of the genre of music it is,it's sort of fitting for an action video{suppose?}
Pendra
Very interesting. Is this a Chinese clone gun, or a new full fledged AEG?I'm in doubt, cos there is a company called Army, that sells cheap Chinese clones. In case it is a clone I will head straight to gunner-airsoft to pre-pay and pre-order the 1st assembled production version . On a second tought, they don't even need to assemble it, just send the parts to me. I'm sure 120$+shipping would cover it. I think the battery goes into the foregrip. joolz
whatever it is..please may it work!.. ..and lets hope ICS might be watching that video..about time we had a little more info from them on their L85.
evilliboba
Army Code is a HK company that made accessories for guns. Their most note worthy item was fully trademarked G36 bodies with metal charging handles. Hardly a cheap Chinese clone.
Skarclaw
What kind of muppet makes a promo for a british assault rifle with rap music as the BGM? It's intresting that another L85 is on the way, but is it wrong that the rubbish "music" turns me off more than the natural ugliness of the prototype? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because no British people to rap amirite? doc_newstead
What kind of muppet makes a promo for a british assault rifle with rap music as the BGM? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Someone less narrow-minded than your good self? Gun looks hot.
Angry
I might consider another L85, but this time I'm going to wait for a few months after its been released. I'm not having another G&G like experience again.
zala
full video
Angry
Looks like a nice bit of kit. But then the finish was never something I had a problem with on the G&G.
