Classic
Army SOCOM bipod. This especially is a very
good copy of the 'Harris' design. The legs are sprung, folding
to the front or rear dependant on individual preference
when not in use. Height is adjusted via a small sprung catch
that locks the leg extension in the desired position.
Another
great feature is the mounting system, It comes with an
additional swivel pin that allows the owner, with a small
bit of work, to attach it to almost any rifle. Big bonus
as usual on CA kit is the price, cheaper than the real
counterpart at only £49.99

SWAT
systems tactical gear Wolf
are proud to announce that they are now official agents
for SWAT gear. Some readers may recognize some of these
designs from various Hong Kong websites under different
brand names, however, that is where the similarity ends.
Swat systems were one of the original manufacturers of
this kind of kit predating 1996. Since then, a good number
of other retailers have come on the scene with essentially
copied designs. The end result was the whole of the Hong
Kong flooded with cheap, low-grade tactical gear that
you could buy for a few quid and would self-destruct after
a short period of time. Not only that, but the tactical
vests are predominantly manufactured in East Asian sizes
i.e. small-medium, not very good for the majority of western
players. Cough…
Wolf
have worked closely with the manufacturer to produce a
range that is of high quality without the huge costs of
some other brands in the western market. You really have
to see this kit in the flesh (don't you mean nylon? Ed)
to realize how good it is, especially at the price. Remember,
these are made to Wolf's UK standards and are superior
in every aspect to the Swat range in the Far East, which
are made to low cost and low quality Asian markets. Rifle
bags start from just £19.99, Thigh rigs £39.99
and vest/rigs from an unbelievable £74.99. It just
gets better; each item comes with a manufacturers warranty.
Expect new designs and kit soon from the brand that is
destined to make a big impact on the UK skirmish market,
only at Wolf.

Type 90 RC tank For those of you that are
not in the know, over a year ago, Tokyo Marui released
their remote controlled 1/24 scale BB firing model type
90 tank. Much hilarity was had by the few people that
had the wonga to afford this marvel of airsoft ingenuity.
It was powered by a pile of AA alkaline batteries, which
once you got totally wrapped in the fun of thing, would
seem to last about 2 minutes. This was largely due to
the amount of control you actually had on the thing, boasting
full 360` field of movement with multiple forward and
reverse speeds and turns right or left while going in
either direction. The other set of controls on the handset
govern the independent turret and gun control system with
30round firing 6mm cannon.
Now
a new model has been released. This is basically a Marui
type 90 manufactured under the brand Hen Long. It has
pretty much the same packaging, high quality and accessories
as a Marui but has had some really nifty upgrades on the
model itself. Firstly, instead of the usual need for a
bucket full of AA batteries needed to run the thing, the
battery housing has been adapted to use a rechargeable
9.6v 750mah nicad pack. You get this with a charger as
part of the package, which is nice. The next great function
is the fact it has 3 separate radio frequency settings.
This does not mean much to the individual owner but get
a couple mates to buy them as well and you can have a
battle with each player on a different setting.
On
the original, it had one red LED that would flash on when
you fired the main gun. This new model not only retains
that function but has fully operational headlights and
reverse lights. These lights also function as an indicator
when using some of the new program functions that appear
on the remote unit including a sort of mad immobilize/alarm
button that works kind of like a car alarm fob. Another
function is the aforementioned program buttons. On these
all I will say about it is do not use these program buttons
in a confined area, that is if you want both the tank
and your house to be undamaged before the battery runs
out. The overall speed of the tank is considerably improved
over the old version as well. The price... just £99.99
from Wolf.
More
news: The
new wolf website is coming along very nicely, a wee hint
as to the possible image of the thing - look above. Also
Wolf had dropped the price of its KWA/KSC Glock 19 to
just £99.99, a saving of £10 on this great
gun. They also have the Glock 18c at £99.99 and
Ingram M11 for £109.99, all of which are in stock
now. Wolf also have a BlackHawk clearance sale, with savings
starting at 25% off and upwards. Add to that the Bagmaster
£9.99 holster promotion and the new non functioning
range of airsoft bargains there is something for everyone
this month. Classic Army have set an April release date
for the M4 and M16, the sixth official date so far. It
all promises a complete 1st gen product and hopefully
worth the wait.
