Gamespot Japan ceased to have an Airsoft section at around the beginning of this year. I did rather wonder why and the Japanese translation rather eluded me. Partyboy posted a link in the forums to some shots from New-Akiba.com’s toy’s Index which is showing as their first Airsoft article some shots and details on the new “TM SIG 226 Rail”. the give the specs as being 196mm in length, 797g in weight, a 97mm inner barrel and a 25 round capacity.

Of curious note is the two part magazine with a seam around the lower 1/5. Given the design of the mag you’d think that theres plan’s to release a shorter magazine at some point (such as that found in the P228) but instead it looks likely that TM simply copied the real SIG’s PC limited capacity 10 round mags.
