AG-01 improvements

The chaps behind the liquid filled Airsoft grenade (AHG) have sent over a news update from them. AG-01 is curently undergoing improvements, it’ll be made from a new plastic, will feature a new detonator of some form and various other improvements:

This version and new stock will be available on September-october, the ALM-01 comercialization is delayed because we are doing important improvements on the AG-01, this will make the grenade more operative.

We have changed the plastic formula to reduce the elasticity, now the grenade explodes with a better deflagration. We are changing the detonator, adding a device called “Power Boost” that will make possible the AG-01 working in low temperature conditions and with less water (25 ml. or even less). The color and textute of the grenade has been modified too giving the AG-01 a less brilliant aspect than the last version. In addition, now the black grenades have detonators of the same color, improving its aspect considerably.

With all these changes we have tested grenades at 5�C exploding in 8 seconds, this is better than the old 25� needed for working.
