Alberto from the Spanish Airsoft Federation has been in touch to let everyone know of a major airsofting weekend game occuring this weekend:
Monegria and the countries we all know can?t get the peace so easily, even when the last event left some order and got the invaders thrown away from the free Monegrian Republic there is always something to care about in this arid desert?
It can?t be in other way, Airsoft Zaragoza is proud to present the Monegros Desert Store in its 6th edition that will take place as usual in Tardienta this weekend, 30 June and 1 July
We do know that Spanish players are not afraid of dust, wind and enemies, but are they capable to face the desert sun with temperatures raising fast up to 40 Celsius degrees? Well, the answer has been told to us a few times and we know they can use their mind and strength their bodies, but they also can like fresh drinks and some shadows, we got a perfect compromise this time.
This edition, seen the nice idea night games are, will have a new torque, during the hot hours in the day we will have crony target range, team battles, sniper search and the usual competitive tasks to let everyone get clear if they rock or not; and for the night time we got a non stop game from about 18:00 in the Saturday to 10:00 on Sunday, there will be no peace for all the night and any electronical device is authorised.
But if you want to know more, we have more for you, this confrontation is held with all the help from the Spanish Airsoft Federation and according to it?s rules, as part of the national airsoft circuit being organised, we also will have the sponsors that have been supporting us and some new ones, Sherman Survival, the best known airsoft store has more than never (if an XM8 is not enough for you), Altus, number one in military and civil equipment in Spain will take here some free stuff including combat and civil first class and airsoft-proof garments, ASOLO another airsoft supplier will take it?s first step with us, Schweppes has a whole deal for us to get fresh drinks and shadowed places to have a rest and War Heat, the magazine, is starting the collaboration, don?t pass the opportunity to become famous!. Of course all this organization could not be held without the Tardienta-Monegros adventure centre that has been giving us a place to enjoy all this time and the main piece in the game, PLAYERS that confide in us event after event.
Yeah, this sound really good, but there is also a place for players; an expert ?airsoft gunsmith? will be here all weekend to help you fix, upgrade and shim your material, players have a place to deal without post cost and we got the biggest deal, we got funds to hire a full moon!! Yes, if you don?t have a night scope we fixed it for you!

Dear friends and airsoft mates:
It is really a pleasure for me to contact you to announce the Spanish Airsoft Federation, a federation made just of airsoft Associations that work not in a local area but nationwide to promote and make respected airsoft practising. The tasks for this federation are promoting and giving general knowledge for the airsoft nationwide through collective efforts from and for airsofters.
This federation founded two and a half years ago, was born with the firm objective of giving hears and work real all the things and needs airsoft players claim for. Our direct goal and decision to take this option real has lead us to make some actions, projects and works that slowly but firmly have been accomplished until now when we have thought they are strong enough to start going on.
The Spanish Airsoft Federation doesnt want to become the airsoft voice in Spain, because we understand that there are much more individual voices so important than our and with great wisdom, therefore our task is just to defend the common interest from our federated associations and work together with any other ideas wanting the airsoft became the amusing and sporting activity that all of us desire.
Thereby we tend our hands from here to help and colaborate from our humility in any project whose objectives are working for airsoft in Spain either being other associations , federations or bunch of people looking for friendly hands with no obligations or other compromises.
This Spanish Airsoft Federation was born and keeps really simple tasks, studying, work and promotion of airsoft through consensuated norms for the airsoft disciplines that our federated associations use to play.
Tactical airsoft as the basis for our sporting and recreative activities and ?technical airsoft? for the competitive activities; two styles that united together with the airsoft marshal school give this federation the instruments to make real the projects for upgrading and presenting the public in general our airsoft the way be understand it should be.

We have been working in order to protect all the members from the federated associations with a federation license annually and with renovation offer that offers a medical insurance in case of injuries and civil and economic responsibility insurance that lets us upgrade the airsoft to the same level any other sporting activity faces.
We have reached a united playing rules about FPS, minimal distances of engagement and general airsoft rules in which the federated associations can see their interests took in consideration and respected.
We have written the technical reglamentations for technical airsoft, focused in very amazing activities such as shooting ranges for airsoft and orientation races for airsoft.
From this federation we see the tactical airsoft as the reflection of the great horizon that military simulation airsoft shows us, and that is why we worked out some rules for the military simulation in order to give all the federated associations a united code and acting previsions to get multi teams events more and more affordable in the form of our Airsoft League Calendar. Where the associations organise and promote their events, open to the general public or just for members and that represents the main exposition for this federations tasks.
As airsoft is a dynamic and in constant change activity we count with specialised teams focusing in studying and upgrading our rules so as to be able to perform and modify all the necessary things to keep the kind of airsoft that this federation promotes as the airsoft that all of us want.
About legal matters, we got a working line to get new proposals and applicable solutions in order to get the ?guns and explosives law? nowadays in use in Spain modified to help us and with the first and irrevocable task that our playing materials are not and can not be called and used like guns but totally separated of the concepts that are in use for the moment, leading us to an appropriate qualification and own rules letting us to walk our way after a state normalization in all the airsoft areas.
With all these things stated as clearly as possible we want to open our hands and work and offer our collaboration to everybody to keep on working in group to make airsoft in Spain something known and respected. Anyone who wants to join this project can let us know and will be accepted and helped as much as possible and those ones only wanting us for future help and collaboration, think storms or just chatting, here we are! This federation was founded just to let airsoft players meet and play together and help becoming a ruled sport with the voices of each and all players.
