Rather than the system we did have which detected if you were trying to view the site on a smartphone or a PDA and then sent you to a page for that phone, we’ve now got a simple subdomain setup. If you want to check our news on a PDA or smartphone, just pop onto m.arniesairsoft.co.uk. This will direct you to a Google powered page, which if you’ve got a google account will remember what you’ve read (articles read aren’t displayed).
It’s a bit of a cop out using Google rather than writing the code ourselves, however I like Google, I hate reinventing the wheel, and this method is really fast!
