Easy-To-Make Airsoft Magazine "Gas-up" Station
Here’s a quick reader idea from John at pointshooting.com:
Easy-To-Make Airsoft Magazine "Gas-up" Station
The stand is an old patio umbrella stand. The pipe is a 15 inch piece of 1 1/4 inch Schedule 40 PVC pipe. It is heavy duty and can be cut with a hand saw. Pipe can be longer.
2 four inch adjustable metal bands (screw-to-tighten) were used to hold the gas tank to the pipe. And duct tape was added to the tank to prevent slipping.
Set on a work table or bench, it is very stable. To add oil drops to the propane gas tank adapter valve, slip the pipe, with tank attached, out of the stand. Turn the tank upright, with pipe attached. Unscrew adapter, add oil drops.
Not shown in the pic, is an empty pill bottle that I cut down some. I then taped it to the patio stand pipe near the bottom. It holds the little bottle of oil ready for use, but out of the way.
