Algin (AirsoftClub) has sent over news of their newer full metal L85A1 varients only 50 of these two different models will be made.

Version A (made in HongKong) and Version B (made in Taiwan) both comprise of a full metal body, metal outer barrel, marui M4A1 inner barrel, marui M16 hop-up/rubber and custom L85 Eagle Force 1100S motor. Stock FPS is about 280 FPS/w0.2g. The only difference is delivery time and price (and internals – see below); A comes in at 350USD and takes 5 weeks to make and B costs 769USD and takes 8 weeks to complete.

Version A uses the Academy gearbox and B uses the M16 Marui gearbox, version A has a functional fire select switch (safe/single/full), B only has safe/full. They both feature the plastic SA80 red dot scope (Academy), takes TM M16 mags and up to a 8.4V 3000mAh battery.

Looking at the RRP the price on the “B” version must be wrong. Checking the description I think the fault lies in the incorrect price quoted for the custom Eagle motor of 664USD rather than 66USD. Best put that one down to a typographic error I should think.
