Few places like this exist it seems. Where you can actually be in no-kidding Alpine wilderness and yet see the city lights below. Making the higher mountain lake in the snow with time available is an impossibility. Temps had plummeted and the night sky is alive with a crisp clarity that keeps us awestruck. We are reluctant to go down as we take it in but it grows late, 930pm to be exact, and Crocket awaits below. We get underway following my 2003 GPS track in heavy snow that hides the trail. This route is longer but avoids the bushwhack that vexed us on our ascent. Camp provides some entertainment as he adapts to the steep descent on deep snow…trust those steel cleats on the MSR Denalis and the trekking poles or risk death! (ok I made up that last part). My nighttime navigation with the Garmin GPS60x leads us true over the ridge and back to base camp though Campfiretalk seemed to have his doubts. Crocket did a great job with the fire that greets the return. Some farting ensues and I for once ain’t a player in the game. I’m glad Allie and I didn’t have to bunk with those guys. Morning breaks with llamas outside the tent. I plan some camp fun with the .22 bolt gun and we love the sunny morning.

Guys this video is to announce my drastic move to have Rx managed by a nationally known airsoft retailer. I simply don’t have the time to build or run the AirsoftRX name. So I approached one of my distributors that runs and maintains several airsoft businesses about doing reviews. I informed them about how I was feeling about the website and that I was currently opening a local Hydrographics shop and that running the business was becoming difficult due to my time constraints and my personal health. I made it clear that I would keep my accounts open. That’s when the flood gates opened. We decided that they would operate the Rx website maintain it and I will step into the role of spokesman and review outlet. While still retaining the company interests I had before. This retailer is well known and very reliable. It is not a youtuber no marek delta1 or lol ncman. And not megastore or airsplat. I have no confidence in any of them. Not a bad thing just not want I want to put my hard work into. So buy with confidence and often. Stay ruined because I will be doing all the promotional work as well as the reviews with Rx.

This is a short video demonstrating how you can easily change a sites location on the map (if for example the postcode doesn’t quite reflect where the actual site is etc) using the drag and drop locations feature.

Run hard, shoot straight. In my "Lion Heart Drill" in the snow, we take shots at AT steel with some WW II combat classics, gaining experience in the type and learning how to do it better. First up is the amazing M1 Garand again: just as capable now as it was in 1942. This one is the CMP Special, a backbone TNP test gun now with over 1500 rounds through it. Those aperture sights are a favorite and the gun’s accuracy is demonstrated well here. Bryan Hood from Gunnies is my assistant on the bright, sunny, and yet snowy shoot as we take it through the challenging course. Joining in along the way will be various handguns and the some other classics like a German Mauser K98 and Springfield M1903. Most challenging are our shots at the 150 target unsupported and standing to gain extra points. These battle rifles hit the steel hard and with authority, dominating our usual .223 players in my courses. I see again why I love the Smith and Wesoon 1911s again…right up until I shoot the 1911SC which dials down my mojo. From 10" round Evil Roy plates to the ActionTarget plate rack, Lion Heart provides some fast and engaging shooting in the high desert. This is a little bit of footage that I took at a night event I held a week ago. This game was merely meant to test out how much I liked the concept.
Overall, I did not care for the night style games. Perhaps these are more fun at say an abandoned building or something, but forest battles weren’t too interesting. Thanks for watching!
