    MilSimJunkie Interviews Evike Matt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NDndw2rzIg

During my SoCal tour it was suggested by several people to give Tac City South in Fullerton, CA a try since our background is mostly CQB. We took the drive during traffic to play Tac City south during the week and this is what we caught. Needless to say we were surprised by the sheer size of it. At nearly 30,000 sq. ft. we were almost back in our element. Tac City south was a great field to play. The staff made the experience just a tad bit sweeter.

  • HK Umarex UMP45 AEG Review (HD) – RWTV
The HK Umarex UMP AEG does not give the greatest first impression. This has a lot to do with the fact that is made of plastic and, to be frank, looks about as cheap as a average kids toy. But on closer consideration you will find that this gun has found a spot in the market that no other guns have – it is an extremely reasonably priced, light weight, high powered airsoft gun. This is ideal for those new to the game or if you looking for a gun ready to play straight out of the box.

  • Huskey Mark II EWS Sling(patent pending)
    **PATENT PENDING**
Place your order for the Huskey Mark II EWS Sling at Ares Armor.
    http://www.aresarmor.com/install/ecom-prodshow/AA_huskey_mk2ews.html

For years the debate has raged over two point sling mechanisms. Cam locking or Quick adjust. The Cam slings have the benefit of allowing an over tightening when the shooter needs to be hands-free of the weapon system at the expense of quick manipulation of the sling to complement the shooting position chosen by the shooter. The quick adjust two points have the ability to quickly tighten and loosen as deemed necessary by the shooter, but can only tighten half the distance of the webbing the slider piece is attached to. This leaves a choice between tightening for hands free or for shooting position. This argument has created a schism between operators worldwide and the slings they choose to bring the fight.
Welcome to the next generation of weapon system control. The Huskey MK II EWS is NOT a compromise between the two ideologies. It is an answer to what is demanded from a two point sling by war fighters. The Huskey MKII was over a year in the making. A joint venture between Ares Armor and Impact Weapons Components, the culmination of this project bridged the gap in the debate over which type of 2 point sling is more versatile. The MKII EWS, designed primarily as a quick adjust two point for kinetic operations shooting, carries over the ease of adjustability vital for the three dimensional battlefield. The MKII slider easily allows the ability to over tighten from the same slider piece when the operator must go hands free in order to mitigate obstacles, rappelling and fast-roping, amphibious operations, airborne operations and EVERY other facet of warfare. It features all metal components and 1.25" nylon webbing for durability deserved by today’s gunfighters.

Continuing my Southern California tour I decided to stop by Evike where I ran into and had the pleasure of hanging out with Evike online personality, Matt. They shot a video for the new WE Samurai Edge pistol. Later on in the day we stopped by Tac City Fullerton where we met up with the Tominator for a little airsoft carnage.

  • "Pacific Memories" by Nutnfancy
Now just a memory, here’s friend Dan and myself on our ocean fishing adventure June 2011. Nothing tastes better than fresh fish tacos…and here you see the catching process. But the outing has more of a soul than just that. It helps embody one of the key concepts I espouse for life: adventuring with friends and family, making memories. Using the music of my friend Bryanisms again, the spirit of the outing is preserved for you in video form as I take you along for the expedition, TNP style. Otters, sea birds, colorful fish, sea lions, kelp forests, big swell, ocean spray, sun, and Dan our host make up this Nutnfancy memory.
  • "Gen 4 Glocks: Next Gen Awesome or Suck?" by Nutnfancy
The Gen 4 Glocks brought somewhat improved better ergonomics over the 3rd Gen models. They also brought some controversy as Glock decided to mess with a combat handgun (Glock 17) with such a near perfect reliability record. This after decades of successful military and law enforcement service. Granted the Glock 22 probably needed this double captive recoil spring design as they were many complaints of it malfunctioning with weapon lights attached (LE and civilian use). But it was surprising to many, myself included, that Glock decided to change the G17 design. Apparently it was not done correctly as the first G17 Gen 4s had some issues (discussed). A spring recall program was instituted and newer version were revised. Enter 2012 and TNP testing on the latest Gen 4s. The better ergos bring an improved ambi-switchable magazine release, near perfect grip stippling, interchangeable backstraps, minor frame changes, a slightly reduced heal swell, and of course the new recoil spring. Claimed to decrease muzzle flip and recoil with some, I did not notice a big change in firing these full size Gen 4 Glocks (G17/G22). But the heart of the matter with these full size Gen 4s is reliability. With several equally proven combat handguns, do the Gen 4 Glocks stack up? Check into the video and watch them being ran hard over a period of months as the Nutnfancy verdict weighs in.///////////////////////Music licensed to TNP from: www.youtube.com/user/eldudio
