Rumours from the east (sent in from a friend) would suggest that Western Arms are working on a new “S&W SW1911″ and “SPRINGFIELD V10 COMPACT” . The S&W 1911 is interesting (basically it’s a refined .45 1911 see here), as WA are known to license all their products and if true, this could mean a newer line of Smith and Wesson replicas from WA. Perhaps some of the more unique pistols.. and not the Sigma… please not the Sigma.

The Springfield V10 is a rather cute cut down .45 that normally comes with a wrap around grip and ported barrel. MGC did make a 7mm PFC cap version some time ago, but as far as I know this is no longer made. Please bear in mind, this is just information from a reliable source, and as such is posted in the “Rumour Mill” section. Details and release information really can’t be confirmed until WA update their own website or release information direct.
