Shot Show 2013 day 1 with Airsoft Megastore

by News Fairy

Here is Airsoft Megastore’s report from day 1 at Shot Show:

Shot Show is finally here, and Airsoft Megastore has got the scoop on the latest releases from leading airsoft and real steel firearm manufacturers. The Shot Show convention in Las Vegas, Nevada is the largest firearms convention in the United States, featuring over 1,000 exhibitors ranging from boutique tactical gear manufacturers to global firearm manufacturers. The first day of Shot Show was filled with some big announcements and releases, such as the new King Arms Gas Blowback Full Steel and Wood M1A1 Thompson Submachine Gun (Licensed by Cybergun), the new prototype of the ARES Stoner LMG Chainsaw AEG, and new products by Action Sports Games Inc.

The headline product at Palco Sports/ Cybergun’s booth was the new King Arms gas blowback M1A1 Thompson submachine gun, featuring stained wood furniture and a full metal receiver and barrel. King Arms has done an excellent job with this Thompson submachine gun, featuring a fully functional locking charging handle and a fully adjustable metal hop up chamber. This is the first airsoft gas blowback Thompson to be released to the airsoft market, and is sure to be an instant hit with any airsoft players running a World War 2 loadout.

Cybergun also released their new fully licensed King Arms Blaser bolt action airsoft spring sniper rifle in Tan.

Another new release at Cybergun’s booth was the Fully Licensed Sig Sauer Compact M400 RIS Full Metal AEG.

Action Sports Games Inc., known for their high quality and fully licensed airsoft products, had an extensive collection of exclusive airsoft guns, such as their Licensed B&T MP9 Airsoft Gas Blowback SMG with an accessory mock suppressor, the Licensed Ashbury ASW338LM Bolt Action Airsoft Spring Sniper Rifle, and the prototype of their CZ Scorpion AEG.

ASG’s new Ashbury Precision Ordinance ASW338LM Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle features a long monolithic top optics rail, and is compatible with a host of aftermarket upgrade parts including an authentic looking mock suppressor.

The ASG licensed CZ Scorpion is still in its prototype stage, but (fingers crossed) hopefully it will be released before the end of 2013.

We also dropped by ARES Airsoft’s booth to check out their latest products, and we were completely blown away (nearly literally) by their Licensed Stoner LMG Chainsaw AEG with an attached M203 Grenade Launcher and a box magazine! Instead of the standard pistol grip normally found on Stoner Light Machine Guns, this AEG features an aggressive looking chainsaw style grip with an included circular grip at the front of the gun. Also features at the ARES booth was the new MS338 Bolt Action Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle and the Gas Powered MSR-400 Bullpup Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle.

ARES Airsoft’s new MS338 Bolt Action Airsoft Sniper Rifle features a completely unique design and CNC Machined full metal construction.

The ARES MSR-400 is one of the only gas powered airsoft sniper rifles to feature a bullpup design. This premium grade airsoft sniper rifle also features a rugged full metal body, barrel and rail system.
