X-Fire have a new outer barrel set for the VSR10 out today called the ‘Barrel P Flute’. The new kit comes in two parts as it is based on the bull barrel set. The flutes that are cut into the barrel are 3mm in depth, so the barrel has 6mm thick walls meaning that it gives a fair amount of weight to the VSR-10 that it is fitted to.

The new barrel system can take a 430mm inner barrel, comes in a sand blast anodised finish and is priced at 7,800Yen. X-Fire say that for the barrel "end cap" you should use the original G-Spec with this kit.
