BioBB test results posted
Daniel Hazlehurst (D.E.D. USA) has emailed across an article that covers biodegradability tests that have been carried out on various BBs to see how eco-friendly they are. D.E.D. USA are the official US importer of Bioval BBs, so whilst there could be the suggestion that the material isn’t perhaps 100% accurate I’ve seen similar details posted elsewhere on the ‘net regarding compositions so don’t doubt the results myself:
There has been confusion regarding Airsoft BBs biodegradability and the implications they have on our environment. This is of course a big concern for D.E.D & VSAF. So we decided to try bring some clarity towards this issue. Lab tests are, however, very expensive and at first it did not appear as if we could row this one ashore.
However, we found Borealis and Inger at their Department of Biochemical Testing, who completed four test for us all free of charge! Daniel Hazlehurst, (D.E.D. USA)
