ICS has had a few CGI videos of their new CXP concept rifle up on youtube for a while now, but as of yet no physical evidence has yet to come that the M4 CPX is anything but a concept.
But yesterday having spoken to the team regarding their L85A2 they sent me some images of the finished CXP concept rifle.
These as you can see aren’t the best quality images and there is a lot of accessories covering up a lot of the detail, but ICS informed me that it’s deliberate. As they want to keep as much of the spec’s and dimensions as secret as possible to prevent other manufacturers from copying the design.
For more images head on over to the News Forum thread.

The team over at Jia Dyi was kind enough to let us know about AimTop’s new gear set’s. Already they have released what promises to be some pretty good motors and a cheaper alternative to some of the other brands available.
The gear sets are currently available in High Torque and High Speed sets and have a very similar set up to the Angel Self shimming gear sets.
Of course proof is in the pudding when it comes to gear sets so Jia Dyi has sent us 1 of each version to run through there paces to see just how well they perform. The review will be posted soon so keep posted!

As many of you are aware I posted some information a while back on the ICS L85A2 that was scheduled to be released this autumn.
The response to that post was that many of the members here were not happy with certain aspects of the prototype.
Having worked with ICS on some of the issues and also the ICS R&D team having an active involvement with the members of Arnie’s Airsoft forums ICS was more than happy to make those changes and improve on the design based on your observations.
For more images and to post any comments or suggestions head on over to the new thread, remember ICS want to know your opinions before they go into full production!

Madbull have just announced that their much anticipated JP Rifle receivers will be released at the end of November. These will be one piece CNC aircraft aluminum and will be 1:1 to the real JP Rifle receivers.
There is no information for exact pricing at the moment but MadBull Airsoft has said that it will cost the same as non CNC receivers so that is good news all round.

News in from King Arms about their new metal receivers!
Hi there,
I would like to give you guys some info about our new series of metal receivers, which would be release shortly.
The metal receiver is re-designed and come with some new features: It has a quick dissemble and re-assemble system which allow users to take the receiver apart and put back in just a few seconds; The rail top can align with RIS handguard for easier modification; The battery connector plug can be stored easily in the receiver’s cut –out tail tube; Self-locking pins and bolt catch system were added on the receiver and the receiver is compatible with King Arms, Marui, and Systema gear box.
The receiver is build by Aluminum Alloy. The surface finishing and the color are supreme which make it no comparison with other receivers. Lots of effort has been put it to make it right. The body itself has gone through electrophoresis process, other parts are built by either stainless steel or phosphateized steel which provide better rust-proof ability.
We took some times and did a little review on youtube, you guys check it out at:

Having written up a review on Magpul’s CTR and MIAD products in Multicam, I decided to publish reviews on other products coated in Hydrographic film using 100% authentic CRYE Multicam.
This time we cover all of Dytac’s multicam product, read the full review here.
This is the second in a series of reviews on parts coated in Crye Precision’s Multicam Hydrographic Film. This time we bring you parts coated and sold by a new company on the market called Dynamic Tactical.
Currently Dynamic Tactical has only 3 products available at the moment, but looking at their web site it seems they are gearing up to produce a lot more. The 3 products are their IBH Helmet, Vertical fore grip and finally their M16/M4 magazines.

Well the time has come for me to publish another review and this time I have pulled all the stops to bring you all the most in depth and conclusive review of the A&K M249 Para. There has been a huge amount of interest in this replica and many have posted their desire for just such a review!
Not only is there over 7000 words and a huge amount of high quality pictures packed in to this review but I have taken some video to show off some of the awesome features of this weapon, so head on in to the Review section to read more!
What with more and more replicas coming out of Chinese factories time has come for them to replicate something that many of us have been waiting for. Finally A&K has replicated the Classic Army M249 Mk.I, Mk.II and Para version of the famous Fabrique Nationale (FN) Minimi or Mini-Machine gun.
Now having been stung once before by an A&K replica I was a little wary of the M249, but what with this gun pretty much being in the Number 1 spot on my wish list for as long as I can remember I was both eager to open the package up to see what was inside and slightly apprehensive at the prospect of another lemon!

With the increase of parts available in Multicam hydrographic film, I start the series of reviews on the first products to hit the market, Magpul’s PTS MIAD Grip and CRT Stock.
Now I would like to start off by apologizing to the team at Magpul who kindly sent us these for review about 3 months back.
Due to the nature of the items I decided to go one step further and get one or two other things coated before doing the review as the items sent to us from Magpul were the Multicam coated versions of the two items and the look of the gun they were placed on looked slightly off balanced and didn’t do the parts justice.
Also with the release of other Multicam parts I thought it would be better to hold back from publishing the review as I will now run a series of reviews on Hydrographic filmed parts.
