Laylax has announced a new “style up” part for the Tokyo Marui AK74MN. This is the AK74MN Cocking Handle which sports a black finish made of duraluminum and is shaped in the modern style used by PMCs around the world. It is on sale for 3,500 Yen.

KSC has released two new Glock models, the G35 Gold Medal, and G34 Gold Medal Glocks.
The Glock 34 Gold Medal features a long slide with gas ports on the outer barrel, straight grips, slide grooves and adjustable rear sight. Heavy weight slide is also a key point and offers a good weight.

This may have been old news, however this is very noteworthy mentioning.
Frontier has been making multiple Type 89 custom parts from the larger mag release, long top sleeve rail and small rail plates.
Frontier has released two great new products, a Type 89 M4 Stock Adapter for the collapsible model, and full metal original rail handguard.
The Type 89 M4 Stock Adapter is constructed in aluminum and can widely accept various M4 type stocks. The stock can be collapsed completely without any modifications. Price is ￥6,800 at Frontier.
Another exciting custom parts for Type 89 user is the full rail handguard.
The Type 89 Full Rail Handguard is made of aluminum and can be attached easily. The rail unit however cannot contain a battery and a seperate battery box like a PEQ must be fitted to use the gun. Price is ￥28,000 (Rail and Pin removal only) . ￥29,800 (Rail, Pin Removal and PEQ)

Tokyo Marui has offered the Tracer Unit couple years ago, however the old design is proving to be more outdated and once again Tokyo Marui is going to release another exciting new version of the Tracer Unit.
The all new 2008 model will feature a more robust design with a 14mm negative screw side. Different adapters are included for various gun as well. The previous Tracer Unit was made with plastic, however this one is now a full aluminum construction, and it’s design is now more tactical-like. The previous Tracer Unit also suffered a battery leak and a poor switch design, however the revision also includes a newer push button switch.
The all new Tracer Unit will have reduced muzzle flash and more new tracer type BBs will be available later with more luminescence. The Tracer Unit will be on sale on March 26th in Japan.

New products to expand the AK74MN release, PDI has announced the PDI AK74MN Steel CNC Outer Barrel.
All new Steel S45 CNC Machined AK74MN Outer Barrel. Sports a 8.7mm diameter to house the PDI tight bore inner barrels while external parts as the cleaning rod fits flush and allows easy maintenance of the gun. Price is 4,640 YEN.

PDI has announced the new AK100 Muzzle for the AK74MN. It sports CNC S45C Steel with a 24mm threading to accommodate the new TM AK74MN. Inside the muzzle features a silver core to replicate a real flash hider. Price is 5440 YEN.

KWA RELEASING KM4S-TACTICAL
Rosemead, CA – February 01, 2008 – KWA USA today announced the release of KWA KM4S-Tactical, a variant of the highly successful KM4A1 LiPo-Ready AEG.
The KM4S-Tactical sports a skeletal fore grip made with impact resistance polymer and alloy rails. The skeletal fore grip can accommodate a variety of batteries including an 8.4V 7-cell NiMh mini battery pack. Full metal, adjustable flip-up front and rear sights are used to maintain the streamline look of the gun. Like the KM4A1, the KM4S-Tactical is equipped with a reinforced, high performance metal gearbox and is LiPo-ready when you are. Performance specs match those of the KM4A1.

Tokyo Marui has just announced that their successful AEP H&K USP (Gun Only Set) is going to be released on 1/21/2008. Previously Tokyo Marui has made the AEP M93R and G18C as both, a Full-Set with a battery and a charger and a Gun-Only set without any batteries or charger at a reduced price. The AEP USP Full-Set is available on the market as well.
For those who do not know about the AEP series, Tokyo Marui has made the compact electric gearbox pistol, known as the AEP. An AEP does not offer any blowback, however gives the user great accuracy for a close range weapon. The AEP series also boasts a hi-capacity magazine (30 Rounds and Optional 100 Rounds Magazine) and full-auto fire. All AEP series can be customized with a silencer, scope, flashlight, and battery options. This is the ideal back up weapon for people wanting a gun that can be used in all weather and requires no gas. *(In Winter, gas guns do not work well at cold temperature and the AEP is the solution to this.)

New from Laylax, Japan is the Tokyo Marui Detonics Reoil Spring Guide and Recoil Spring Set!
This Spring guide set is made of SUS and has a teflon coated shaft for ensured smooth operation of the gun. Previous problems involved the Detonics to lock/stick when fired and was the result of the spring guide. The spring guide also has a bearing in the shaft to allow the spring to compress and twist more efficiently.
