An ammo limit of 300 rounds per game also means that players are encouraged to pick their shots wisely, rather than spray and pray. Whether you’re a sneaky ninja, a dynamic gunslinger, or a devious tactician, there will be something at this event for everyone. Stirling Airsoft Op: Sea Angel boat-based mission

Stirling Airsoft have sent over details of Op: Sea Angel which will be taking place at the end of April:

Stirling Airsoft have just announced details of the upcoming airsoft combat mission Operation: Sea Angel which will be taking place on the 27th-29th of April 2012.

Op: Sea Angel will offer a new experience for Stirling Airsoft’s players as the mission will include the opportunity to work as part of a sea-borne assault team, establishing a beach head for a land-based assault upon an enemy-held installation.

image

Places for Op: Sea Angel are extremely limited with just 30 places per side, of which 14 places on the US/UK Coalition Task Force are for the boat-based members of the mission, so email bookings@stirlingairsoft.com or call Matt Belgrove on 07831429407 for more details and to secure your place before they’re all booked.

Prices start at £60 per person for land-based players and rise to £250 for players taking part in the boat-based element of the mission.

Bear in mind that Op: Sea Angel is a Stirling Airsoft Combat Mission rather than a regular Themed Airsoft Game, which means that players will be operating tactically for the entire duration of the weekend from the time the mission begins on Friday evening until EndEx on Sunday morning. Stirling’s next Themed Game will be Op: Wildcat which takes place at Catterick on March 10th and 11th.

Don’t forget to become a fan of Stirling Airsoft on Facebook and follow @StirlingAirsoft on Twitter to keep up to date with all the latest news and upcoming game announcements from the Stirling Team.

EVENTS 2012
Under 2011 we managed to complete three out of four events. Two Tango and one Hunter Force Missions. Which is a 75% success ratio and totally acceptable.
Of course for your service, we always want the 100% completions.
Here are some Historical statistics over cancelled events:
Operation Tango events: Never been cancelled 100% complete.
Hunter Force Missions: One complete one cancelled 50% success.

SSMG MilSim: Operation Tango Apocalypse [Teaser/Intro] from SSMG on Vimeo.

SSMG airsoft: Hunter Force Missions from SSMG on Vimeo.

2011 to 2012 is decreased by two events. One Tango and one HFM for 2012. The reason for this is that there are more international players joining us and we wouldn’t want  them to miss any Tango series or Hunter Force Missions. Coming to Sweden once or twice a year is a reasonable amount. Here are the dates for our events during 2012:                     Operation Tango Apocalypse: May 31 – June 3                     Hunter Force Missions: August 3 – 5

Apocalypse Airsoft Milsim: Clear And Present Danger

Apocalypse Airsoft have sent over details of their upcoming event:

Apocalypse Airsoft presents: Clear And Present Danger
25th – 26th February 2012

Mission Scenario:
Mercenary forces are operating in the target area protecting the interests of a local drug lord. Their primary activities are to ensure that shipments of drugs, weapons and cash are smuggled through the region without being discovered or intercepted.
A covert surveillance team has been deployed to this region to gather intelligence on the activities of the drug cartel. Their primary mission is to get close to the base of operations, confirm the identities of the local commanders and retrieve evidence prior to a large scale intervention.

Estimated mission time: 30 hours

Area of operations is approximately 200 acres of woodland.

The correct kit is essential as the terrain and probable weather conditions will be unfavourable for chairsofter-style gimmicks.

You will be moving hard and fast with no comfort breaks, safe zone or covered areas,  so physical fitness and the correct state of mind are essential.
If you are not sure, then this is probably not for you.

Cost is £45 per player to be paid in advance.

Z-Day is here… F&O Zombie survival events

First and Only have sent over details of their new Zombie survival events:

Z-Day is here…

When the Zombie Apocalpse comes, do you have a plan?

First Airsoft Based event at ‘The Mall’ – 31st March
Z-Day Survival Horror Airsoft events at First and Only Airsoft

The world has descended in to panic as the slow infestation of the un-dead march across the globe consuming everything living in their path. Not much is known about the source of infection but it quickly spread as borders crumbled and defences were over ran. Governments just failed to understand what they were up against. The world is in tatters, it’s time to start your survival plan.

Z-Day events come in many forms; from ‘Airsoft based’ days to ‘experience days’ (where airsoft knowledge is not necessary), to ‘full emersion’ horror events. They will also run at a number of F&O sites all over the country.

Z-Day Airsoft based events are designed for experienced airsofters with a mixture of Airsoft skirmish and LARP (Live Action Role-play) where small groups of players will play the part of survivors cut off from the outside world. As Airsofters, you will not have to play out LARP characters but will have to interact with the story and characters you come across in order to survive. The survivor team will be split into 2 groups and will have very specific restrictions on load outs and dress code. All Airsoft weapons are restricted to single shot; no full auto fire will be permitted.

The event will run all day in 45min/1 hour sections that have cause and effect, rolling into the next section. Survivors will NEED to work as a team to survive as well as carry out missions. This will not just be about shooting zombies, in fact ammunition will be severely limited. Areas that have never been seen or played so far in The Mall will be used. There will also be plenty of surprises along the way.

This is not your typical Airsoft zombie game.

Z-Day is here….

Price – £55 – PAYMENT TO BOOK IN ADAVANCE
