Just a few FAQs for general info
I thought I’d cover a few FAQs that I tend to get in my mailbox here to help reduce some questions that I have to keep sending the same answer out to.
Q: Please add my link to your site.
A: There’s a section on the site specifically setup in the Web Links area to allow you to add your own link. If you supply a valid email address you’ll get an email to notify you after the submission has been checked. Do note that links to really obscure sites such as "Where to get a Russian Bride" (yup they have been submitted) won’t be considered. ;)Q: What is the format for submitting articles?
A: This is already listed in some detail on the current FAQ section.Q: Can I list my event?
A: Sure, just submit it to the events calendar (you’ll need to be registered to do so).Q: Where can I sell my gear?
A: There’s a second hand sales section set up in the forums. Do bear in mind that it’s for non-commercial gear; for commercial submissions email me direct at arnie@arniesairsoft.co.uk
On a separate note, if there’s a link not listed in the links section please do add it, for links that aren’t your own you only need to supply the description, sitename and the URL. I’m sure there’s more Q’s to answer but they are the ones that tend to crop up a lot.

New X-Fire parts for AEG pistols
Tomo at X-Fire has sent in more updates from them to highlight their latest product updates. HE apologies for the short update but it sounds like they are very busy at the moment. The latest parts include:
1 For AEG Hand Guns NON HOLE Cylinder304,
2 For AEG Hand Guns HI-SP Cylinder304,
and 3 For AEG Hand Guns PISTON HEAD 8.
Apologies for the lack of updates form myself, but I’ve been at a friend’s wedding so natrually a little busy recovering from the festivities and driving.
A few random updates
WGC have sent out an email with news of some clearance items from them, you can find a copy of the list and all the offers here.
Seems that the Guardian has picked up on the VCR Bill and the reaction to it by everyone that it affects. The article does at least report on the issue and doesn’t put a huge amount of spin on it, even if the ‘antis’ comments are factually largely incorrect.
Relatives of people killed or injured by acts of gun crime clashed with sporting enthusiasts yesterday over the government’s plans to restrict the manufacture and sale of imitation and replica firearms.
Members of the Gun Control Network (GCN), many of whom have personal experience of tragedies caused by the use of illegal weapons, hit out at an international campaign being run by devotees of paintball and the similar but more militaristic airsoft shooting events. ("Backlash at curbs to restrict replica guns", Guardian)
I’m not quite sure where this "clash" happened but there you go, publicity of any form does at least help in some ways. There was also some news posted about the issue by the BBC (as mentioned on saveairsoft.org).
