Lakota Industries in Ohio has been recognized by CRYE Precision as an approved coater of their new Multicam® Hydrographic film coating which is now available. Already products such as the MagPul CRT and MIAD are available in this coating. There is a nearly endless choice of finishes that can be created combining base coat color, film-based pattern and top coat. In addition to camo patterns, we can also do a variety of burl wood and wood grains, $100 bills, American flags, marble effects, carbon fibers, checkerboard patterns and many more.

Please note that for some copyrighted patterns, especially certain copyrighted camo patterns, the paint color is specified by the pattern’s owner and may not be changed. For other patterns, such as carbon fiber, many different effects are possible based on selection of base color.

Maintaining the website along with writing all of the reviews you read on dEFCONAirsoft is a time consuming process, so we’re looking for a little help from you, our readers.

Ting (Russian Mania Workshop) has sent in an email with some news from RMW:

Dear Arnies,

I have managed a new AK104 with Inokatsu. Though AK104 is not new in the market, but this RMW special provides you the AK104 with skeleton stock and scope mount that is not appeared in the market before and it will only be available in RMW. It looks more compact and tactical. Personally I like this model very much, I hope you like it too.

I will group the order and get it from Inokatsu. I accept pre-order now, first come first serve base. Once you ordered it, it takes about 1, 2 weeks time for me to deliver.

Now available on preorder at RedWolf is the SCW3 HardBaller (that’d be the one from Terminator). Here’s the news from the guys there:

Available for PRE-ORDER. Get your PRE-ORDER in now and get just over 5% discount off the retail price. The release date for Japan is 8th June, and we should be getting stock in around the 15th, so place your order now!

This is the HardBaller, the real one of which is made by AMT, characterised by it’s extra long slide and made famous by Arnie in the classic film of the 80’s – The Terminator. With a holster-stretching 267mm, this gun is long! The top of the slide is serrated, and has Bomar-style sights, providing for easy aiming. As you would expect from WA, the detailing is nice, with “AMT” and “HARDBALLER” on the side of the slide.

It will be a Shibuya Custom Works version 3, so the hop-up is likely to be a fixed one like the with other SCW version 3 pistols from WA, although it will more than likely be an accurate pistol to use. The magazine capacity is 21+1 and the whole gun weighs in at 912g. Performance-wise, we expect this gun to shoot over 300fps with top gas and .2g BBs.(RedWolf)

Simon at Mad Bull Airsoft has sent in some shots of the new Patriot kits that have arrived in the US including the sniper version. Here’s the shots and details:
