The Wait is Over with the All New Tokyo Marui MAC 10 !
Just recently dealers and stores across Japan have been flooded with the new coming of the Tokyo Marui Electric SMG, the MAC 10. For those who do not know, Tokyo Marui has released two AEP SMGs, the MP7A1 and the VZ.61 Scorpion. Following it’s best seller, Tokyo Marui has announced the new MAC 10 as a full set SMG with the Gun, Battery, Charger, tracer adapter, Silencer, and a Hand Strap in one complete box. The gun is completely made of metal including the receiver and a few steel parts. The gun comes with a 65 round magazine.
(Pictures are from Echigoya’s Web Blog)
The box packaging is done in a Vietnam style era color which is also the same style on the TM M733 AEG model. It is a very stylish and excellent presentation for this SMG.
This is the MAC 10 with it’s suppressor fitted and the stock extended. Overall this is a very large gun for the SMG series.
This is the standard 65 round magazine supplied with the gun. The 480 round hi-cap magazine is also available separately. Surprise as this is the "Real Magazine" gimmick Tokyo Marui has shown us on the website. Apparently this does not stop the gun from blank firing.
All three images from left to right and down:
The MAC 10 set with the magazine, suppressor, and the gun.
Tokyo Marui MAC 10 vs. KSC MAC 11. As you notice the MAC 10 is a larger gun to accommodate the larger .45cal round compared to the MAC 11, which is a 9mm round. Simply it is a BIG MAC with a happy set (^v^). In stores soon!

Exclusive: ICS announce new concept CXP rifle
ICS has had a few CGI videos of their new CXP concept rifle up on youtube for a while now, but as of yet no physical evidence has yet to come that the M4 CPX is anything but a concept.
But yesterday having spoken to the team regarding their L85A2 they sent me some images of the finished CXP concept rifle.
These as you can see aren’t the best quality images and there is a lot of accessories covering up a lot of the detail, but ICS informed me that it’s deliberate. As they want to keep as much of the spec’s and dimensions as secret as possible to prevent other manufacturers from copying the design.
For more images head on over to the News Forum thread.

Aimtop release new high speed & high torque gear sets
The team over at Jia Dyi was kind enough to let us know about AimTop’s new gear set’s. Already they have released what promises to be some pretty good motors and a cheaper alternative to some of the other brands available.
The gear sets are currently available in High Torque and High Speed sets and have a very similar set up to the Angel Self shimming gear sets.
Of course proof is in the pudding when it comes to gear sets so Jia Dyi has sent us 1 of each version to run through there paces to see just how well they perform. The review will be posted soon so keep posted!
OPSEC Airsoft Radio – news and two updates
The past month hasn’t been the luckiest one to hit California recently and Radar and the OPSEC Airsoft Radio crew haven’t had much luck lately either. Thankfully there is good news:
Hey Arnie,
October has been the month from hell for OPSEC Airsoft Radio! If the technical issues, illness and fires weren’t bad enough, on the 31st of October, I [Radar] was admitted to the hospital for a terrible infection. Being there for 48hrs caused the cancellation of the most beloved OPSEC tradition, the spooky Halloween show. We even had a guest
in from New York that we had to bail on. Bad times. Once released, we immediately started putting together a show for Sunday the 4th of November, so Mr. Andy & crew could participate. The November 4th show went off without a hitch and is now available for download via iTunes (search for “opsec” in the Music Store) or via direct download at the below link:*November 4th Program*

Show Notes: LinkOnly having 4 days between shows is a little rough, but we wanted to get back on the Thursday horse and resume our normal operation. Last night’s program was a blast and all things considered, not too shabby in the content department. The November 8th show is now available for download via iTunes (search for “opsec” in the Music Store) or via direct download at the below link:

Exclusive: More news on the ICS L85A2
As many of you are aware I posted some information a while back on the ICS L85A2 that was scheduled to be released this autumn.
The response to that post was that many of the members here were not happy with certain aspects of the prototype.
Having worked with ICS on some of the issues and also the ICS R&D team having an active involvement with the members of Arnie’s Airsoft forums ICS was more than happy to make those changes and improve on the design based on your observations.
For more images and to post any comments or suggestions head on over to the new thread, remember ICS want to know your opinions before they go into full production!

International Airsoft Association
Somewhat late to help in the UK, but of possible interest to concerned international players, a new International Airsoft Association has set up shop:
Welcome to CAOC (Combined Airsoft Operations Command), airsoft’s first International Association for the Protection of Airsoft Sports. CAOC is an international players association dedicated to protecting airsoft sports and players rights. CAOC’s goal is to be proactive regarding future legislation like the VCR bill that was recently passed in the UK, by working with local, state, and national lawmakers on an unprecedented scale. We could best be described as the NRA for Airsoft sports. We currently represent players in the US and the UK, and more players are joining us daily from as far abroad as the Philippines.
CAOC was created by a group of highly experienced and highly motivated Airsoft enthusiasts with one goal in mind: to help bring organization and unison to the highly fractured community of Airsoft, in order to protect its future. In an effort to attain and maintain the integrity and differences the sport has opposed to paintball, a step towards advancement of the sport was needed. CAOC is here to bring it to you. Having backgrounds in the United State’s Army’s Special Forces, Air Force Elite Operations, Marine Corps, and SWAT, these individuals have been extensively trained and operated as professionals in the tactics and methods that are behind the combat simulation that comprises airsoft.
Other attempts at National airsoft organizations have failed, due to the lack of a focused vision, as well as the lack of motivated individuals who are willing to do what it takes to protect their sport. At CAOC, we know our goals, and they are the right to enjoy replica weapon ownership and the right to enjoy responsible airsoft play, and our staff, as well as our members will do whatever it takes to ensure those rights. Join us, and help us protect your rights!
By becoming part of our association you will also receive a number of other benefits, such as discounts at major airsoft events, and when shopping for new airsoft equipment at major airsoft retailers, as well as entering a fast growing network of professionals, retailers and serious airsoft players throughout the United States.
