Helicopter secured for OP: Liberty Canyon Sept 27th Wolcott CT

MACV has secured a Bell Jet Ranger 206B helicopter for the OP: Liberty Canyon Sept 27th Wolcott CT.

United States Army transport was not available so we have secured a civilian helo for MACV use. Pending town approval (we anticipate getting it next week) United States forces will use the chopper for transport of troops, prisoner transport, and LRRP over flights on September 27th from 0800 to 1200 hours. All United States forces registered and paid for the game will have flight time in the bird for $25 to cover the fuel costs. VC / NVA troops should contact me if you want to be involved in the air operations as prisoners or other character actors. We will have a full camera crew that will take your pictures and you will be able to take your digital cameras on board to record your flight. The following YouTube video shows the flight that my team took last weekend at RECONDO school.

Revolution Holsters: 5.11 Tactical and Blade-tech have joined forces to bring you the revolution line of holsters.

Using a proprietary blend of polymers, Blade-Tech has engineered these holsters to offer lifetime performance in a wide range of conditions. The holsters won’t become soft in extreme temperatures (over 300º F) and won’t become fragile in low temperatures.

We’re using a special slick-surface polymer, one that won’t wear the finish of your gun like a leather holster. Revolution holsters provide a level 1 retention. When inserted into the holster, your sidearm seats positively with an audible ‘click’. Retention screws may be tightened or loosened for personal preference.

Holsters come with a belt-loop (adjustable for a 1” to 2 1/4” belt) plus a paddle that can be adjusted for angle.

Our holsters also come with a paddle, which makes this great deal a tremendous value. Paddle can be adjusted for belt width and holster cant.
Because we use an proprietary polymer, our holsters have much higher temperature tolerance. Other holsters can deform or even melt at much lower temperatures than the 5.11/Blade-Tech Revolution holsters.

After seeing what an excellent job you did regarding our last post I thought I’d just write and let you know what we’re doing this week. Firstly we’ve just taken delivery of the new 5.11 / Blade-Tech Revolution Holsters.  Basically 5.11 Tactical and Blade-tech have joined forces to bring this new line of holsters and mag pouches. I’m fairly sure we’re the first in the UK to have them and I have to say there a great bit of kit and very good value with both the belt loop and paddle option included. Talking about value for money we’ve also added the Solarforce range of flashlights to our current special offers list with up to 50% off. And for anyone looking to compete with the Surefire 6P then they should seriously look at the L2 range. Even the basic model L2 6V 90 lumens is well beyond recommendation at this new price of just £12.99 and the LED versions start at £15.99 now, although of course you’ll have to buy some batteries with that.

And finally, staying with torches and for those guys who have some spare cash about and are looking for a bargain we have the Surefire G2 Nitrolon. RRP is £63.99 but we’re doing it for only £46.99. That’s less than a standard Surefire G2 with 12 batteries and the LED version will last longer.

PS…Just a quick word about our new Molle vests and pouches. I’m pleased to say the final pre-production testing is now completed and with better than expected results were really looking forward to getting this range into stock. More details will follow soon but what I can tell you is the range will be available in 3 colours namely, Black, Tan and Olive green and most operator configurations will be catered for including individual pouches for customisation. As for prices….well you’ll just have to wait but I can guarantee you wont buy better from anywhere else. Expected delivery times is about 6 weeks. Picture attached.

Here’s the latest update from Popular Airsoft:

It’s the year for the Summer Olympics, and all eyes are on China. And that, our friends, is also our cover story. Though not exactly in Mainland China, where airsoft play is actually illegal, our Operators went to Hong Kong, the land of all things airsoft. You name what airsoft gear you want, they have it. Hong Kong is the main transit point for airsoft and thus, we give you our story on Chinasoft.

They sat down with RedWolf Airsoft, Airsoft Global, Magpul PTS, King Arms, CRW-Airsoft, and GunnerAirsoft to discuss about Chinasoft and played with Unit Black Division, a team of expatriates in Hong Kong, and comprised mainly of Filipino players. It’s really a thing for Filipinos, playing airsoft. Wherever they are in the world, as long as it’s legal, they always find a way to play airsoft together.

In our features, we interviewed Andrew Ho of Airsoft Extreme, the US-based airsoft company that is famous not only in the US, but also around the world. Moreso, we also interviewed Matt Jones of Network Airsoft, a social networking airsoft site. And New Caledonia airsoft is also featured with the Union Caledonienne D`Airsoft explaining the situation in the Pacific island just northeast of Australia.

Buckshot and Orac were at Berget 6, the largest airsoft event in the world. And they’ve brought their story and photos. Next year, we’re thinking of sending an even bigger group to cover the event…so Berget 7, here we come. Optimus Prime, together with Bulletproofmike and Saicho, went to the War and Peace Show 2008 where they had a great time gawking at the military vehicles that paraded in front of them.

More on our cover story. Brahma presents to you Flyye Industries, the China-based gear that is fast getting popular among airsoft circles. Ogre and the BigBadBear also were mesmerized by the custom work of Clarence Lai, more known as the Airsoft Surgeon. As the guys came back to report about their Hong Kong experience, what they told as that he is THE GUNSMITH. We bow in praise of him.

We’ve got the usual gun reviews, with the Western Arms M4 CQB-R GBB, the TM AKS74U, JLS Beretta RX4 Storm, Jing Gong M4A1 All Metal, and the M14 SOCOM face-off.
