Now in stock at Tactical Kit you can find the latest range of Safariland Holsters:
SAFARILAND is a manufacturer and distributor of a variety of products for the law enforcement, military and sporting goods markets worldwide. Safariland’s Duty Gear Division manufacturers holsters, belts and other components, such as magazine and handcuff cases, worn by police and military police personnel. In addition, Safariland is a leading manufacturer of bullet resistant vests for law enforcement officers in the United States and abroad.
The Safariland 6368 is a concealment version of the Automatic Locking System (ALS) series holsters. The 6368 utilizes the SLS as the primary security system with the hood guard in conjunction with the internal locking device (ALS).
Once the weapon is holstered, it locks into place, providing an extra measure of security from standard holsters. The device is completely operable with the thumb, making it very instinctive to use. Once the internal retention device is released, the weapon can be drawn straight out of the holster without any twisting or other unnatural motion
ALS™ Automatic Locking System secures weapon once holstered
• Includes SLS hood assembly and Hood Guard
• Slim, compact design allows weapon to ride close to body
• Simple straight up draw once releases are de-activated
• Optional Sentry Guard available
• Formed, sturdy paddle design for comfort and easy on and off
• Available in STX Tactical™ and Plain finish
Model 5187 Concealment Belt Slide Holster The 5187 Model incorporates Safariland’s new adjustable belt loop with low cut front and sides for ease of draw and added comfort. The Model 5187 is a compact and lightweight concealment belt slide holster with fits available for handguns with and without lights mounted to its rails. IDPA approved and can be worn cross draw position. The 5187 features an all-new injection molded belt loop design offering a comfortable, close to the body fit with adjustable belt loop angles, 1.5" (38mm), 1.75" (45mm), 2" (50mm), and 2.25" (58mm). The SAFARI-LAMINATE™ construction makes this holster tough and durable and its suede lining helps protect the gun’s finish.

Paul at AI Magazine has sent in word from AI:
A big Thank you - I think it’s about time to give credit where credit is due. It’s not me or the loyal bunch of contributors and staff that Ai has (although without them Ai would not be what it has become today) it’s you guys our readers. Ai is still bucking the downwards trend in news trade sales. In fact since Ai launched over three years ago our circulation has constantly grown.
Success itself brings its own problems. Take for instance the Wannabe special (Not that it was a problem) was the 13th issues in this year’s publishing calendar, which meant that we had to find a 13th month in a 12 month calendar (which was no mean feat in itself) and now we’ve not just created a 13 month year, but what we had to do is nick a day from here and a day from there to give us a window to get this 13th issue on the streets. Initial reports suggest that the specials are here to stay so look out for some more AI goodness around this time next year.
