So I finalized three more client projects. Should be a good bit of business. One is just light tuning and a trigger job for a friend from Pinnacle. The Race Gun trainer is all ordered, now I am just waiting for everything to show up so I can get started. Shipping from Asia has been slow as molasses lately. In airsoft news I spent all night swapping parts around between a Hi Capa and a 1911. Fun exercise. I now have a new 2011 masquarading as a classic 1911. So the short term future for new GBB projects is looking awfully bleak. I would be excited about the new Marushin Bren Ten GBB, but since it will have the hated LD2 hop up, the thing is guaranteed to not shoot straight. I whipped out my P210 to give it a try with .34s and the stupid thing still shoots like a shotgun. I need to tear it down and remove the second hop up nub. See how that works out.

Finished up a clients gun tonight. Den order showed up, a little for me and the last few parts to finish up the Evike 1911. I personally have never had a problem ordering from Evike, but man their technical services are bottom of the barrel right now. I can't imagine that they have looked at this gun three time now, and it still shot like sheit when it came to me. Be careful who you have work on your gun. First off what a great day to be a Tifosi. Much congratulations to Kimi Raikonnen and the Scuderia. Hopefully the Williams and BMWs won't be excluded there by handing the title to McLaren. We shall see how it all shakes out in the end, but next year should be amazing. I wonder where Alonso is going to land. If he asks to be released I wonder if McLaren will actually let him race for another team next year. There should be some good off-season news this year.

So I have been trying to pick up some side work, building GBBs for people I have met on the forums. It has been really exciting to be recognized for the work I have done on my own guns, as well as the way I comport myself on the forums, but now I am running into the problem of how and what to charge for work.
I keep getting asked to do work on budgets that don't allow the client to actually receive a gun I would be proud to deliver to them, and which allows me very little room for any prof
Got to take a few days off, booked out of town to spend some time with my Pops and his new house. Right now in the works is finishing my TM Hi Capa 6.0. I just need to finalize my hammer choice and it will be completed. Swapped to a 6.01mm PDI tight bore and saw a jump of 15 fps on average, with less variation between shots. I still believe the tighter the barrel, the better the power, accuracy and it really helps stabilizes fps fluctuations. I have also fo
It has been a great two days in terms of airsoft for me, both in terms of client work and with my own collection.
The final pieces arrive for a client's gun. Got to button down the hatches and finish the build. With some light tuning and my current favorite internal bits, the gun has really come around. It is nice to find that what I think to be true, continues to be the right choices. I like certain companies for certain parts. PDI for barrels (but DB Customs might be a better option
Tanaka revolvers are the king of fps, but man do they take work to get shooting correctly. All three of mine require me to add a lot of hop, and then raise the rear sight. Man I wish they would fire closer to the point of aim. One more reason I prefer GBBs, the Tanaka and Marushin hop ups are bunk. I actually care about accuracy now, and it is a bit depressing.

Man I hate waiting for sales to complete. I also hate not having a bunch of extra cash, finances suck. Funny how people ask left and right for something, until you actually decide to sell it. I also hate when people make you jump to meet a price, be ready to ship on time, and then keep you hanging for a week and then back out. I could have sold my Constrictor a week ago, but I tried to be nice and waited for someone to come up with the cash only to have him back out at the last moment. Lame
So I had to look at a a previous customers gun again since for some reason the fps had dropped pretty drastically. I couldn't figure out a reason why over the phone so I just had him send it back to me. Funny enough, I ran it on my chrono and it shot where I thought it should. Can't really figure out why his readings where 20fps lower than mine. I use a Guarder Speeder 2000, and he is using two separate F1 Chronos. I wonder if my chrono is off, but I can't figure out a way to figure it out.
So I think I have figured out what my next few builds are actually going to be. First off is going to be a non-flute Tanaka SAA Cavalry. Black base gun, with silver trigger and hammer, and white pearl Ajax grips. Hopefully I can actually source the pieces I want, but we shall see. Stupid thing is going to be expensive, but man are Tanaka SAA nice. I would drop all these parts on my current one, but I think the flat black parts will clash with the rest of it since it is a midnight coated gun
